She's really good at explaining things and in order to understand the material well you should go to class even though she doesn't have an attendance policy - nothing is mandatory in her class aside from quizzes and exams. It's easy as long as you take good notes and look over them before exams.

Dr. Sebastianelli is a very good professor. The class is not easy but it is very doable. There are a lot of chances to improve your grade between the quizzes and exams. Overall, I would definitely recommend her and this course.

A wonderful lady, theres no doubt that she knows statistics better than anyone. You need to try to do well, she gives you what you need, but you must study and try to learn everything. The first exam was always like 2-3 As, mostly Cs, progressively gets better. Start strong to do well!

She is without question the best professor I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about her. Plenty of people do poorly but if you study hard, don't skip, and put in the effort, you can succeed in the class. She's very friendly, very funny, and prepares you beyond well. STAT 252 was my favorite class in all of college so far.

Shes fantastic. Extremely nice, approachable, explains material clearly, gives lots of examples, and prepares you very well for exams. This was a very challenging class. Not the slightest bit of an easy A. It will probably take lots of studying, and you'll miss a LOT if you skip even one class. But Id highly recommend. STAT 251 was lots of fun.

This class is not an easy course. While this is the case, a B or even A is completely possible if you put in the time. Sebastianelli explains it the best she possibly can, provides you everything you need. Couldnt see myself not taking her, but it is vital for you to study!

Dr. Sebastianelli is the best STAT professor you could have. 5 quizzes and she takes the highest 3 scores. 3 exams and a partially comprehensive final, but she lets you know what to study. Doesn't take attendance, don't show up for class you won't do well. She cares and makes sure all students know the material. Would 100% recommend if you can.

Statistics is not an easy course, it may start off by being easy, but the second test average was a 65. She knows her stuff, but it's on you to get a good grade, and if you don't, then there's not much you can do about it. If you decide to skip class, then you may be missing 3 chapters of notes because she goes through it so fast.

Dr. Sebastianelli is a very nice person, but her STAT251 class is very difficult. Math isn't my favorite subject and I'm not particularly strong at it, and I found the class very difficult. The book wasn't very helpful, and unfortunately when I took the class private tutors were not available either.

Statistics overall isn't an easy class. However she explained the topics well and had them make sense into concise notes that are easy to follow. Do the homework problems, they really help for quizzes and tests. If you put in a decent amount of work and go to her office hours when you need help, you'll do fine.

She's probably the best teacher I've ever had. She's really smart and amazing at explaining things, but her tests can be challenging and its necessary to work hard and study for tests to get a B or above.

Sebastianelli is definitely one of the best teachers at the U. She isn't easy but is very smart and great at explaining things and making it easy to understand for people who aren't so great at math like me. I recommend taking her for STAT 251 and 252. The tests are difficult but if you do the recommended homework and go to class you will get an A

This course was surprising very Statistics heavy. There was a midterm, 2 minitab assignments, a final and a 20 page paper for the semester. The paper was due in parts throughout the semester so it wasn't that overwhelming. Overall the class was a lot of work but I learned a lot throughout the semester and enjoyed it!

The class is easy, and the professor makes it even easier because she has to dumb everything down for business majors. Maybe she doesn't dumb it down. Maybe her level of intellect is that of a business major. She didn't know 20^2 without a calculator. Overall, the class is easy, and for an A, take her, but there are more competent professors.

I had her for Statistics 251 and 252. She is one of the nicest teachers at the U and has a real passion for statistics. Her class is challenging but she is one of the best Statistics teachers at the U. If you do not do the homework you are going to fail. She is really helpful during her office hours!

LOVE HER. Her lectures are very clear, quizzes are easy and tests are fair (know some vocab). She keeps stat interesting and clear. As long as you do the homework problems to make sure you get it and study for the exams, you'll do great. Can't wait to take her again next semester - highly recommended.
