Comment:
Dr. Robinson definitely has strong opinions, but she doesn't penalize students for disagreeing. Sometimes she plays fast and loose with historical facts, but that's common with RMC's English profs. Overall, I liked this class. Dr. Robinson very encouraging, passionate, and helpful.

Comment:
Yes, yes, Robinson should be ashamed of herself for broaching the subject of "famanism" among the knuckle-dragging troglodytic shaved apes who somehow pass for officer-cadiets nowadays at RMC.

Tow her feminist/queer/postmodern party line and get great marks; or run.

I used to enjoy reading until I entered this class. I do not support feminism being crammed into an English class. I dread second year English because I know it will be more of the same.

Yes, Robinson's strength is femanism, and as such she uses that strength to demonstrate how to engage with literature from a different perspective. You don't have to adopt that perspective. Open your eyes and your mind a little...

I loathe this prof. Every single class we address the issues of the poem or novel, before relating them to her little crusade to 'enlighten' us to her views regarding feminism and animal abuse. Being as I wish to study English Literature and NOT feminism, I find the class quite frustrating. If I wanted a class on feminism, I would've taken one.
