She can be disorganized and online there is no real lecture component, just a lot of readings /slides. But she has to be one of the only profs ive had who actually reads all of my assignments and goes out of her way to interact with the students. I can guarantee she would be a great in person prof, so ill be looking to take a class with her again.

I found this class to be fairly interesting and Helene was always very understanding and friendly, however I found her online teaching style to be lacking - it was all random links videos and PowerPoints with no notes or narration. Assignments were easy to follow. I just wish I could have had her in person rather than online

I took ANTH 111 online with Helene and it was an extremely fun and easy course. She clearly lays out expectations and helps to boost students up rather than tear them down. I feel that I learned a lot of interesting information, although I didn't actually read the powerpoint slides because there was no testing except for the final.

Such a great prof! So nice! Really cares and has great respect for her students. Super easy marker doesn't get hung up on little detailsvocab if you can express your overall understanding of course material. Would recommend to anyone! Participation will get you a long way.

Helene is one of the kindest down to earth professors, if you put in the effort it takes, like reading and doing all the assignments, than an A+ is very likely. Her exam study guides are awesome, what she puts in that is very likely on the tests, no trick questions. Helene is a wonderful kind approachable teacher.

Helene is an amazing teacher. Easy to understand, all teachers should be like her! Effective teaching style makes it all interesting, very clear about examples, tests, and projects. Helena is an outstanding teacher with a real positive attitued towards her students. I can tell how much she loves her subject and seeing the projects (particulary the tools assignment) being handed in. Creativety is one thing she puts in the highest reguard in her class.
