I really liked Coulter and his class. His passion for sociology is obvious and he makes the class engaging. Assignments are consistent but it's definitely possible to stay on top of them. Loved this class so much that I changed my major to the subject.

There are a lot of lectures in this class but they are always super interesting. One class to how us how the class system works he did an experiment that used the rows we were in to represent the different social classes- one of my favorite classes. There are a number of opportunities for extra credit in this class. You will use your textbook.

He's a nice guy and his lectures were always interesting. The only time I fell asleep was when we watched long videos in class.

Prof. Coulter is great. Sociology is a touchy subject but he's very good at being unbias in his lectures. There is a lot of reading and if you aren't a sociology genius, the tests are pretty difficult. But if you show up, pay attention and do your reading, you really learn a lot and should do well.

He always talks about the matrix in every single class. One day he singled out the back row and said we aren't smart since we're sitting in the back of the classroom because of grades we got on a pop quiz that we only had two minutes to take and then said that it was an "experiment".

Awful at giving instructions. Will not let you know about homework until the last minute even when it cannot be found anywhere online. Very frustrating but at least class is always interesting.

Took this class a couple years ago. Before this, I would have never imagined questioning the world around me. He opened my eyes to a greater reality in which we live. He literally doesn't care about what the crowd is doing, he goes against main culture. He's simply amazing. Teaches class in a non curriculum way. Not to mention, that he's so hot!

Took Sociology online. Very clear cut and precise grading. I respect his ability to operate an online class efficiently. I imagine him to be a cool guy in person, maybe even friendlier than most. I would definitely take his class again. His class was not hard but required much attention to discussion boards. tests are about average.

This guy is ridiculous. Singled me out in almost every class, singled out Christians in most conversations, believes that Christians are depriving the world of resources and says that they should not reproduce and starve the world of its resources. He's antagonistic too so dont open your mouth if you don't want a good grade.

Loved going to his class! His lectures opened my eyes to new things I'd never before thought of. He's very interesting and so is this subject. Would absolutely take this class again. The quizzes are all online so you can use your notes. Participate in class because it's for the most part, an opinion based class, so you can't go wrong.

Okay first of, let me just say, he's hot. If you know who McSteamy is from Grey's Anatomy, this guy is his twin. Besides that, he's a great teacher! I actually enjoy going to his class. His lectures are very eye opening and I leave his class in awe. Be sure to participate!

Professor Coulter is awesome! I would definitely take one of his classes again. His lectures really make you think about the big picture and you will learn A LOT! I highly recommend taking a class with him. You will not regret it as long as you pay attention.

Took his class online, biggest mistake ever. Tests are harder than they need to be, his grading rubric for discussion boards is ridiculous. Takes away points for doing work the day it's due, not after the due date, the day it's due. Don't take his class, especially online.

I recommend that everyone take one of his classes. Seriously. Its a class that makes you think about yourself and the world we live in. It changed my life. He encourages discussion & thinking outside of the box. I ended up taking a 2nd class-Social Diversity bc of how awesome Intro was. It was harder, but I'm so happy I took it! I learned so much
