He is a nice guy, but not a good professor. He only reads the powerpoints, and doesn't explain the material. He is old and his teaching methods are not up to date. Many people in class were often lost because he didn't follow the order of the slides. Avoid him if possible, or get ready to learn everything on your own!

Reads the PowerPoint slides without any extra info. He does maybe 1-2 practice problems per class but he does them by hand and is writing is eligible. COMM215 is a hard enough class but having him as a professor makes it harder. He seems nice and means well but he should not be teaching. Take another teacher if possible.

The guy is nice, but I didn't learn much from attending his lectures; they mostly consist of him reading the powerpoint slides which are directly taken from the book, but are only a summary of the most important concepts. Therefore, if you take him you're gonna have to read the book and teach yourself. However if you go to his office he will help

I almost feel bad because he is such a nice guy, but he is a horrible professor. This class is difficult to teach to a large group of students, but it doesn't help that he still uses a projector from the middle ages, and you can't understand his writing. If you're stuck with him just attend class anyways, but basically teach yourself.

I attended every class, they were all useless and boring he wouldn't to anything, he doesn't do the exercices just post answers on board so you just have time to take a picture. We were around 10 survivors going to class. He is a nice person but definitely too old, like a grand grand father you just want to say please go home and rest now...

Avoid. Doesnt cover theory properly in class and uses outofdate stencil sheets in order to show u solutions to problems... never did he work through a problem from beginning to end. Office hours are useless, doesnt answer questions & always brushes u off to TA. Too old to be teaching (86), i will personally make a complaint to the head of the dept!

The main problem is the use of powerpoint. you will never learn if they give your slides you will learn by practicing. Do all the problems you're given, do all the quizzes, try to get 5% on the mini case, and save up cuz believe me you'll go to SOS in the midterm...and before the final also. The final is hard, very hard. Have fun!

Comm 225 in the summer was an easy A for all. As for Moin, he gives you what questions will be tested. Do some practice problems and ur golden. His age is slowing him down, making him hard to understand and boring but it shouldn't stop you from getting an A. I found him to be quite funny in a cute and innocent way :P

Honestly the most useless teacher. He does not teach. Hardly any student went to class since you have to teach everything to yourself anyways. The tutors at SOS tutoring are a million times better.

Honestly, this class is an easy A+ unless you are really retarded, or decide that you wont do anything, and then youll still end up with a B. So WHY take this teacher then? Because he tells you, without actually telling you, what the questions on the exam will be. Oh, and he also give you pratice MCQs that so happen to be on the exam too!

He seems like a nice person, trying to help. Post some helpful stuff on firstclass. Unfortunately pretty useless teacher. There is no point going to class, except the class before the middterm and final when he can give some hints for the exams. Overall the course is pretty easy, so you can easily get prepared for the exams on your own.

Sincerely, one of the most boring teachers I've ever had. If probably knows what he says, but definitely doesn't know how to teach it. His class sheets don't match his powerpoint slides. Hard to follow. After 3 classes, there were about 20 people in the room... Take someone else.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! He doesn't teach, barely writes on the board, doesn't know how to use any technology and mumbles. You have to sit in the first 2 rows if you want to hear anything. If you do get stuck with him then know you will have to learn the material on your own. He's useless! The WORST prof I've had!
