He has no logical grading criteria. You either get 0, half points, or full points. There is no partial credit for attempting the problems on a test. If you dont get the right answer, he thinks you dont understand. He goes way to fast and doesnt explain the theory well. I learned mostly on my own by doing the textbook problems and the internet.

I had to withdraw. Hes not a bad guy, but he gives so much busy work I have no time to learn the material because I have a really difficult work load this semester (physics major). I cant waste time doing two + full pages of math homework every week when I have several labs, papers and other assignments to do.

Dr. Zimmerman is a great professor. Takes the time to explain and build on the material. I was nervous about taking calc, but it wasn't so bad after paying attention and doing Webassigns. Won't throw u any curveballs; practice exams/in class work are basically the same as on exams. He gives you breaks on the POINTLESS labs which is nice.

Dr. Zimmerman is the best CALC I professor. He makes the topics pretty straight forward. He gives out review sheets that are similar to the exams (3 in total plus finals). No quizzes, but he gives in-class assignments (gives the answer), homeworks are online and extension is available. He is very helpful and willing to clarify any confusion.

Professor Zimmerman is a good professor, but I took Calc during the 5 week summer session. He is a little unorganized, does not have office hours and does not enjoy answering questions because of the limited time. If you struggle with Calc don't take him during a summer session.. But during a regular semester should be fine!

Amazing professor- he does everything he possibly can to allow the students to succeed. Homeworks are given each class, usually due by the next class. It is a reasonable amount so that you understand the material. 3 exams. Very accessible and easy to talk to. Go to class because he is great at explaining difficult material. Definitely recommend!

Take him for calc 2. Calc 2 is a tough subject- Dr Zimmerman does an incredible job at teaching it. Do the homework (don't just look for answers online)- you need to practice to be good at this material. Exams are similar to sample exams posted. He will help you with whatever you need help with. Explained concepts clearly. Great guy.

Professor Zimmerman is by far the best math teacher at Towson. His class was enjoyable and he made learning calc 2 so easy. There are graded homeworks each week but they are online and very easy to do. He is always willing to give you extra time and even extra credit. Great guy, truly blessed to have taken this class.

I took Dr. Zimmerman this Summer for Calc 2. Calc 2 was supposed to be the toughest but it was my easiest because I had taken Calc 1 and currently, Calc 3. Expect lots of homeworks but he gives ample time for testing. You can also have a whole sheet for remembering your formula. Enjoys what he does and never has a bad day.

Dr. Zimmerman was the best math professor I have ever had. I took him over the summer and he did not freak us out even though it was a rushed 5 week course. There was homework every night graded for completion. The exams were difficult but definitely manageable. He will explain things over and over if you do not understand.

I took him for Calc 3. Super nice guy and very intelligent and helpful but doesn't really do as many examples as I would've liked in class and oh boy, does he grade hard. Homework is usually completion, but on tests, he doesn't give many points at all for work. Overall, he's not my first choice, but not bad. Plus, he uses free lecture notes as book

Dr. Zimmerman is the best math teacher I have ever taken at any college. He takes homework at the end of the semester. His tests are hard, but if you do the sample exam, you will do great. TAKE HIM!!!!

Always drinking his beverages and laughing all the time. Exams and Quizes are harder than the sample exams and some problems in the real Exam are not in the sample Exam or quiz which make me confuesed a lot about where did he get that question from. I recieved D by the way. never again going to take with him. better not with him.

Dr. Zimmerman is the best math professor you will ever encounter. He explains the material quite clearly and even goes over homework before it is due sometimes. The tests are mostly from the practice tests and with other simpler problems. Final is also easy if you look over the tests. I highly recommend taking a course with Dr. Zimmerman.

Zimmerman is the man! He will go over examples until he is blue in the face. his practice tests are exactly like the real ones and he always gives as much partial credit as he can. sometimes his body does get in the way of the board but that doesn't make him a bad teacher. take the time to ask questions if youre lost because he wants to help you.
