One of the most caring and invested educators you will ever meet. She truly cares about her students as people and wants to equip them with tools necessary to flourish in life. She is the kind of professor I myself aspire to be.

She does like to go off on tangents telling stories, and while I can imagine thats frustrating for her Spanish classes, it works just find for GLS 251 (talking about foreign cultures and experiences abroad is kind of the point). She really cares and wants her students to succeed, just show up to class in case of pop quizzes and its an easy A

This class was really strange. The grading makes absolutely no sense and she doesn't tell you what things are really worth so its hard to know what your grade is until the class is over. The lectures and readings really don't have anything to do with Spanish literature and she just tries to get you to join the Peace Corps. Overall would not take.

She really cares for her students but she gives so much unessary readings. She goes off on tangents and she really pushes you to study abroad which is not bad but all her lectures are directed towards that. On the bright side she gives out candy but I would not take her class.

She's a nice lady but she's all over the place. She gave us a poorly printed out word doc sheet with our "grades" on it. It didn't even follow the same format all the way through. She told us we'd have 15-20 quizzes and it turned into about 30 quizzes, with random required out of class activities counting as a quiz. This class was a nightmare.

Honestly, this was one of the most unorganized professors I've ever had. Sure, she's nice, great. But seriously, she'd be better off as an advisor or something. She spent a lot of class time pressuring us into making future action plans and bragging about her past students, when in reality it was a Spanish class. Such a colossal waste of time.

Sadly her way of structuring the course is inefficient. She is also passive aggressive. She spent many class lectures bragging about her accomplishments and those of her previous students. She attempts to be motivational and wants us to succeed but does not provide the sufficient support and explanation of assignments to succeed in the course.

Senora fitch, was an incredible teacher. I'm not sure why everyone seems to be saying all these negative things about her. She always had so much energy throughout the class and was always excited to teach us. She went on many tangents but it is what made the class so enjoyable. There were no tas present in her span 350 so never had the issue.

Professor Fitch is one of the brightest human beings and professors I've ever had. She really loves what she does and this shows through her teaching. She's passionate about the Spanish culture and genuinely wants her students to learn about it. This class can be intimidating at first, but when she tells you it gets easier, it does.

She is such a wacky and fun teacher. When i say wacky I don't mean it in a mean way at all. She makes the class fun and actually teaches you things you can apply to real life. Although class can be tough at time, she tries to make it possible for each student to receive a good grade in her class. She does fun activities and makes class interesting.

The materials are awesome. Too bad that she doesn't really seem to know what to do with them. Class discussions always drift towards her telling students her life stories, which are btw boring. To make things worse, her essay instructions are usually unclear and she'll get at at you for not understanding. Office visits end up in life stories also.

THIS IS THE WORST CLASS. As someone said before, it's like a prison. The TA's are awful and yell at you for everything. The class is not about Latin American Pop Culture. All Profa does is brag about her life. This was the worst gen ed I've taken at the U of A. Definitely do not take this course.

Class is like a prison, with TAs walking around yelling at everyone. You even have to have a name card, and if you don't you get yelled at. No computers, phones, or anything. Clicker quizzes and tests over readings that are long and boring. Class has nothing to do with Pop Culture. Overall, reminds me of a bad high school teacher. nice person thoug

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She is the rudest person and so self absorbed. I'm not sure what she does because her TA's handle everything. They walk up and down the aisles; no phones, no laptops, no sleeping, no doing any other work, etc. Sitting through this class is the worst. There are tons of readings every night. Way too much work for a GenEd.
