Comment:
Dr. Annis' lectures seemed to be thrown together at the last minute. I did not take this class in person, but Dr. Annis did not seem to care a ton about how her students did. Her exams were very difficult, and I would not take this class again.

Comment:
This class was unnecessarily complicated. The lectures seemed to be thrown together last minute and portrayed inaccurate information that made the content even more confusing. Her teaching style is very stale and she does not respond to emails. She seemed very interested plants overall but had no interest in helping her student succeed in the class

Comment:
Dr. Annis is quiet possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. The class material itself is standard but her disorganization, lack of respect for students, and laziness is profound. Every exam question was which of the following is True/False and was consistently trick questions. I can say confidently this class made me dumber, avoid at all costs!

Comment:
Dr. Annis is polite and formal - seems approachable but I have never met her in person. She gave a LOT of lecture homework with short quiz for every lecture in place of clicker questions. I felt like the grading was fair, and it is not very test heavy. You do have to give a presentation on a plant but it was straightforward and not graded toughly

Comment:
You learn a lot but she makes things very stressful. Takes points off if you miss lecture or if you get a clicker question wrong. You can access her outside cass and she'll try to help. Too many tests and quizzes. Sometimes seems like she doesn't care for students wellbeing or progress of learning in class.

Comment:
When grading tests she would ask for one thing but take off for another thing, which brought your grade down. Too many assignments, papers, lab practicals and quizzes sometimes two or three in the same week. If you go in she tries to help you but doesn't go above and beyond to connect with students. Too many technical things that I had issues with.

Great class. Had a lot of different aspects, exams, a paper, poster project and collections and identification of fungi. Go to class and take notes, follow the exam outlines and you will do just fine. Highly suggest this class. Seanna was always available for help and extremely flexible when it came to deadlines.

Always knew what to expect for multiple choice exams/assignments. I lost more points than I was comfortable with on free response questions because I left out pieces of answers that I didn't know were required, then on other answers she told me I went too far in depth. Confusing. Not as knowledgeable/clear as other profs on their fields. I rate C-

This class was ridiculously hard! Didn't understand anything 90% of the time. Professor was nice, but went way too fast.

She's tough but extremely fair. If you put effort in and show up for review sessions you should do fine. I don't like Bio at all and only took the class because it was required and I still got a good grade. She's extremely flexible with the review sessions and I think she went above and beyond to help her students. I would recommend her.

Seanna is very cool. I had her for Bio 432 and I had learned so much. The class was nice and small and it was easier for her to get to know here students. She knew everyone's names and was very nice to everyone. She's great, her exams were very clear and she is very understanding.

While I didn't like her personality nearly as much as Dr. Dastoor's, I found her lectures to be really helpful to my understanding of the material, which is kind of amazing because I *hate* micro/cellular biology in general. I HIGHLY recommend reading the book before the lectures, though.

Ok people, you apparently are all dumb because this class wasEASY.Just follow the notes ad OCCASIONALLY read the book and you get A's.Annis sucks the most though,is not personable, and refuses to show slides before lecture(or at all)because she is more concerned about the class grad rather than an individual's grade.Kev/Farad are 100x better teachers
