Hes awesome. This class was real easy for me. He has small tests every class day however I found this to be very helpful because his exams mimic the tests. If you are on top of it and do the homework assigned (however you dont need turn it in) you will do well in the class. He is also a very funny guy.

Comment:

Professor Jimenez was a great professor. At first, I found the course difficult but after some time and making sure I stayed on top of the homework and used the worksheets and quizzes to study, I started feeling more confident and understanding. He is very straight forward and funny but will answer any question you have and is patient.

Now that I have almost completed Math 7, I can say he did not prepare me as well as he could have. he is retired so I feel as if he does not provide as many examples as he could. He is also a very tough grader, I got 1/11 points on a problem for not writing "1+2+3.." and the entire problem and procedure was correct. Okay prof, would recommend other

Jimenez is both hilariously serious and extremely knowledgable. The way he teaches math is a an analogical synthesis of all previous maths so it looks like magic during his lectures. He has the ability to be intensely harsh, but he really empowers the students to learn their stuff. The short quizzes are perfect study guides for the tests

He is indeed a tough grader, but I think he is a solid choice if you want to learn. He may seem very unapproachable at first but he is very patient and is willing to help you if you are willing to help yourself. Also, lets say you got a bad grade on the first test, if you do better on the second one he will drop that grade. Overall good choice!

Prepare yourself for 24 quizzes. If you are averaging B on your 2 exams and did bad on the third. And you think you somehow did well on the final. Prepare yourself for a grade of F too. This teacher will cut off points a lot just because your answers are not perfect enough.

The guy is a dope teacher. Math is a hard subject it's meant to kick your ass so this class will be hard no matter what. But this professor will help you if you help yourself, do all homework and the harder problems at the end of homework you should try to learn at his office hours as those will be complex enough to make it to the exam.

Professor Jimenez is fantastic! I loved taking his Pre-Calculus class in Fall '17. His lectures are excellent and he has a great sense of humor. Very clear syllabus. There was a replacement exam at the end of the semester; the score received on it could be substituted for the lowest exam score. I really hope I can take him again!

He does not collect the homework, but I would recommend that you do it because some of those problems he uses on the quizzes and similar ones on the test. Let's say you got a C for the 1st exam and get an A for the 2nd, he will replace that grade for an A. He gives you an "opportunity test". Final is cumulative. He is funny.

This professor said some words like this" i was dropped some students because they was late to my class , they were international students, and because they're under unit, they got repatriation. BUT, it doesn't bothers me at all, i might save this country".

The best calculus class !!!! The best Professor ! It is the calculus class!! Study and review all semester not to forget materials !!! (never skip homework questions/ always review the materials)Ask your question to him! He is very helpful, very patient! Always he has very clear explanation! math 8 cannot be great without him! Very clear notes, explanation, (also he present summarizes for each chapters)a lot of quizzes prepare to the tests &help to understand the materials. if you really study/do/understand homework questions, listen the class carefully& ask the questions. Very helpful, friendly Prof! Amazing teaching ! Amazing class!

He's hilariously sarcastic and fun, however homework is a must! he may not collect it but its the ONLY way to pass his class. Daily quizzes (its how he takes attendance), exams are based on quizzes and homework chapter tests. He's very clear on the material and explains step by step on the problems.

He teaches very well, do hw ,for hw the last problem are usually hard ,I put them on the board 4 him to do, for his quiz and test, I borrowed my friends test who took him before and studied it , test are simalar to quiz problems. Don't come late to class or he picks on you. Overall fun class even will try to crash for math 8 but he clowns crashers.

do your homework, if you need help ask, he will help. Quizzes are tough and there are quizzes everyday. two tests, will drop first one if you do better on the second. STUDY QUIZZES FOR TESTS, IT HELPS

Professor Jimenez may seem like he doesn't care about you at first, but give him a chance. He puts on a tough exterior, but he's really just a teddy bear. As far as his teaching methods go, homework is essential to passing although it's not turned in. Attendance is a must. He will drop you without notice. Quizzes everyday, how he keeps attendance
