Great guy, the kind of guy to think he got a great deal on something, when in actuality you are very aware of how poor the deal is in ways he couldn't even comprehend, due to the society being different from when he was younger. However, great guy just fascination with something he cant explain, which is just how it is with this field.

Most of the terms on the test are from things he talked about in class so you'll miss a few points if you zone out or don't go. Reading the book and defining the terms in his study guide should be enough to pass.

Often goes on tangents in class lectures, uses no visual aids, so if you're not an auditory learner you can't really follow. The bright side is that the reading teaches you the material, but attendance is mandatory. Class feels like a waste of time, haven't learned a thing from lectures. Would not recommend this professor

He has first-hand knowledge of the subject and is a very kind man. If you do the reading, you will be fine. Attendance is mandatory, his tests can be tricky (multiple choice: a or b, none of the above type of ??s)and you will have a 15 pg. report due at the end of the semester. Still, it's a great class and you can do well if you participate.

He can be hard to understand because he is from Cyprus. He often talks about his studies in Sociology and nothing about sociology. It was hard to know what exactly you should study for the test. I would not recommend this class.

Nice man but seems like he has a condecending side. He seems to hear one thing when you say another so there sometimes seems to be a communication problem. The way he words his exams is strange, we can studying for it 3 different ways ie notes, lecture, book, and then the exam is worded oddly enough to really throw you.

His Cyprus accent is adorable! He's very knowledgeable about the subject matter he teaches(soc. of religion and major ideas in soc.). The exams are extremely rushed though. Sometimes he allows "cheat sheets"..if you ask nicely.

Kyriacos is a very nice man, but I resented his condesending tone when conducting class and hearing comments from students. He also seems to be very unsympathetic to college-aged people, despite that fact that he currently has two children in college. He knows his stuff, but struggles to keep class material and discussions organized.

The class was easy, but I hated how he would put chapters on the test that he didn't go over in class because he "ran out of time." May as well just read the book yourself if he's not going to bother teaching it. If you enjoy listening to slanderous comments about the president, then this is a good class. I didn't like it, but it was an easy A

He is a very intelligent teacher and passionate about his teaching. Information he teaches is beneficial to everyone. 80?s on exam but give a detailed study guide and many outlines. his class is challenging, not an easy A. His accent makes you listen more closely to what he's saying. He's a great guy- interesting and cute!

I love this guy! He's very clever and has knowledge about every topic imaginable! His tests are hard, but he makes you think, and although things may seem disorganized they always came together at the end of class to make a point that makes you think!

I found him to be a very disorganized teacher he would jump around in the chapters and not have a designated order. Very interesting though, with many great stories and very knowledgeable. If you have an interest in sociology take this with him if you don't, I wouldn't recommend this with him.
