Ramona is by far one of the best professors I've ever had! She gets to know her students, comes very well prepared, and it's clear she wants her students to succeed. She is well spoken, organized and extremely fair. If you attend class, do your work and ask for help when you need it - you will succeed! I highly recommend taking her courses!

Dr. Bobocel is an amazing professor and I am so glad to have taken multiple courses with her! She is very approachable and genuinely cares about her students. She manages to teach stats in a way that is not dry, and her tests are extremely fair. I especially recommend taking PSYCH 399 with her as she teaches it in a discussion-focused manner.

Dr. Bobocel is an incredible professor and one of the best I've had at UW. I had done poorly on my first midterm and she reached out to me personally to offer words of encouragement and advice - something I really appreciated. Her lecture style is great and very informative. Make sure you attend class and you will do well!

Dr. Bobocel was without a doubt my most favourite professor in my entire university career. She is incredibly experienced and intelligent. She challenges your psychological language and understanding without making you feel stupid or on the spot. She provides great feedback. I really grew in my understanding of research methods because of her!

I would highly recommend taking a class with Professor Bobocel if you are planning on pursuing research. I took 399 with her and will be taking 492 as well. She's really knowledgeable and very precise when it comes to teaching research. Her classes are a lot of fun and she seems really invested in her students' success. 10/10 would recommend.

Professor Bobocel was clear, helpful, and sort of funny at times. I'd definitely take another course with her if she was the instructor. This course is highly recommended if you are considering grad school, or an honours thesis. You don't need to be good at stats to do well (I went from high 70's in previous stat courses to mid 90 in this course).

This is the sort of course you move other courses for especially if Dr. Bobocel is teaching because she offered us something rare i.e., getting hands-on with statistics. Recommended to stats junkies & students who want a fun stats course. Those earlier courses (e.g., PSYCH 291, 292, & 391) you have to take are not worth it until 492.

I would highly recommend to anyone in Psych considering going on to grad school or having interest in pursuing a career in HRmanagement. I wish I took this course a little earlier in my undergrad bc the course material REALLY helps make you proficient with research and can apply to many jobs. Course is very well paced and reasonable for workload.

Psych 399, Research I/O Psychology. This prof is terrific! Very knowledgable. Although the concepts learned can be challenging, she made them easier to grasp with clear explanations & good article selection demonstrating concepts. She encourages questions & class discussion in a way that makes students feel comfortable. Very accessible & helpful.

If you need to take a research course for your PSYCH requirements, I'd definitely recommend taking this course. This course is very interesting and will teach you valuable skills that you'll use later on in life. The professor is very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. She is one of the best professors and #1 on my list! Amazing teacher!

Great prof that knows her stuff. However, sometimes she gets tangled up in her explanations so she can be difficult to understand. However, she is helpful enough to rephrase things if people have questions. I'd definitely take another class by her.
