I took a class with Dr. Woll quite some time ago when I was an undergrad in Psyc. This class was one of the most memorable because it was so challenging. I definitely learned a lot!

I took Personality from him as an undergrad. Hardest class I took at CSUF. Students who took personal responsibility for their learning and who were serious about attending graduate school could count on a first rate treatment of the course material, and on Dr. Woll to be a great advocate and mentor. Definitely prepared me for grad school.

Retired but wish I could take another class with this man. One of the best teachers I've ever had. Also the number one most chalenging class I've ever taken. He hit on just about every topic in the field of psych and because of that, I'm doing great in all my other classes. Thank you professor Woll!!!

WOW. THE most challenging teacher I have ever had. It was so hard that it was curved that a 75% in the class give you an 'A'. I got a 'B' but I worked my butt off and did ALL the extra credits. He is now retired. This was his last semester.

I had Dr. Woll some years ago and although he is one of THE most challenging professors in the pscyh depts at CSUF, he is worth your money. With the learning from his class and his help, I got into a PhD program the following year. Take the time to meet him often and give him essay type answers to questions he asks in class and he will look@ them

Amazing teacher. with a highly idiosyncratic filing system. Took him a long time ago for Personality Theories. Learned a ton and still remember it. Hardest grader I ever had. Still managed an A in the class, but it was pure hell getting it. Be prepared to work and LEARN. I am now a Ph.D. and this class helped prepare me for grad school.

He's really not that bad of a guy. If you have a sarcastic sense of humor you'll think he is funny at times. He is a very harsh grader and expects a lot from you. Be prepared to take a lot of notes and not have a single one sink in. Review the notes before every class session. For the tests GOOD LUCK! The best I think is to just do an outline of th

You are in for a challenge! If you're not up for it, take this class with a different professor. Form a study group and divide up the study questions - that's how people passed this class! This class will prepare you for graduate school; he expects a lot from students. POSS NEG: Females seemed to think there was a grading bias.

Don't let his demeanor scare you, he really does care about his students and is ready to help with any questions or issues. You just have to approach him. He is totally available to listen to any personal difficulties, he cares about his students. He wants you to really study the material for his tests. His essay questions are in depth, though.

I took him for the Personality course. In his lectures, he'll explain various theories and then examine the criticisms of each theory. He gives you the test questions in advance. Study the notes along with the test questions, and you'll pass with at least a "C". Dr. Woll seems a little unfriendly at first, but deep down he's a pretty nice guy.

Although I did quite crappy in this guys class, the way he structured it was quite simple. If you take notes and start studying his essay questions early in the course you will do fine. I realized this to late in the course, but again if you study those essay questions tearly you will see what I mean.
