Asks that you read the book, but I don't think I ever actually touched it, and I passed with a B (mostly b/c of a few too many absences). Offers extra credit, literally gives you the exam questions, and is quick to reply to emails if you missed a class or have any questions. Definitely the best teacher I've had at COC and would absolutely recommend

Professor Tripp is my favorite professor that I have ever had in all of my semesters as COC. She is very passionate about the material & cares about her students, so I always looked forward to going to her classes. She made the class very easy if you just paid attention. She was always available in office hours or email to help when you needed it!

Her office hours are very clear she answers emails quickly and is always there to help in any way she can. She gives the answers for any test right before you take it.

AMAZING lecturers. I truly enjoyed my time in class, and as long as you show up and enjoy yourself it's impossible not to get a good grade. Her tests and quizzes are based on what you learn in lectures, her lectures are fun and full of videos. Great professor, wonderful class, highly recommend.

Its history, nothing in life is easy. I am a big procrastinator and bad at homework. Even though there is a lot of homework, she make it easy. I REALLY LEARN things that matter for my life and as a human being FOR THE WAY SHE TEACHES. There is a lot of extra credit and the quizes usually are easy. Juts do the work, is not hard. She works hard 4u !

Professor Tripp really puts herself into her class and on occasion will dress the part of the history period she is covering. Her lectures go a little fast because there was a lot of material to cover, but she gives a daily outline of the material lectured on. Lots of work in the class, but she gives great feedback and spaces out the assignments.

Such a great teacher. Shes one of those cute old ladies that dont know how to use technology but she is extremely nice. Homework takes only 10min, and you do it on your own time. As for her tests, she hands out all the answers before the exams and grades pretty easy. Also, there are cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Tripp is the cutest old woman I have ever met. The class is SUPER easy. You don't really have to pay attention that much to pass. Adding the fact that she is an amazingly nice woman, this class is great. She would bring our class cookies on the days of our exams.

She is very energetic and knows what she is talking about! She always gives you exam questions beforehand, she even reviews every question in detail and prepares you for essay exam. She makes you do voices, which is like a one page summary on a historical document. Not much homework. Reading helps. She's sarcastic when u ask her for help

No need to come to class unless you're an activist on feminism. Do your voices early on to get them over with. Little use of the book. Exams are easy if you look over the reviews she hands out. A lot of room for extra credit if needed.

First off ignore the chili pepper as it was probably form 30 years ago. The classes are very boring and after the first test I realized I didn't even need to take notes. She hands the answers to you on a platter through her study guide. So paying attention in class is optional. Do all the wok get B's on the tests and you'll get an A in the class.

She is fully dedicated to her students learning the material, and even went on to express herself with costumes every now and then. Her exams are primarily multiple choice, which I'm not a fan of, since they test memorization ability not comprehension. Other than that, highly recommend.

History's always been my worst subject, but this was by far my favorite class. She is so nice, funny, and helpful. This class is extremely easy and you can work at your own pace. She pretty much gives you the answers to the exams, so it's almost impossible not to pass, so pay attention! Also, she bakes great cookies on test days.

Awesome! She is so passionate about this subject and make sure that her students understand and learn. You need to work hard and do all the assignments and attend the class. You should not have any problems with tests if you study her test review. Her lecture is really fun especially when she bring materials that are relevant to the lectures.
