Such a great class and professor. There are 2 homework assignments per week and each homework has 5 attempts overall, and 5 question attempts within. In addition, there are 5 extra credit assignments that you can do or you can take the final exam. Other than that, there are no quizzes or tests.

This class was overall pretty easy. You are required to purchase a textbook that has all of your coursework. There are a few homework assignments and one quiz each week. Professor Kostyrko lets you retake quizzes and exams. I would recommend this class to everyone!

If you need to take a stats class, take it with professor Kostyrko. He is so understanding, and will help you no matter what. He will always open up past homeworks, quizzes and even exams to make sure you get the grade you want and he also provides so many attempts. There is no reason why you shouldn't succeed in this class. You won't regret it.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He is so nice and caring, and answer super fast. There is literally no reason why you shouldn't get 100% in this class. You get unlimited attempts on homework, 6 attempts on quizzes, and 4 attempts on exams. He also extends anything (even the exams) and gives you additional tries if you need any. Best class ever!

Only reason I put 5 for difficulty is because most of the questions need you to use StatCrunch or excel and it can be difficult to figure it out. Good thing is he responds quickly. He gives you a ton of tries for everything and even extends the midterm + quizzes till the last day. Theres zero reason to fail this class gives you so many chances.

Gives you 5 tries to pass Quiz, Mid Term/Final 3 tries, Homework is unlimited. Should get 100% every homework. Probably would be easier in person because you have to learn how to use StatCrunch by yourself. He responds quickly which helps. Whole course is based on using StatCrunch and it can get frustrating but once you do its easy. Ask for help!

All the homework is online, only the lectures, one midterm, and one final are in person. Its a tough course but the load is light. His humor is kinda dry sometimes and can come off as rude but he's a very caring person and means well. I sat in another profs class for a day, and Kostyrko is way better IMO.

Had him online, class was clearly structured with a normal workload. I'm not the best in math, and just needed a sunday afternoon - evening every week. Multiple attempts are also allowed on all quizzes and midterm / final, even after the original mentioned deadline, so all you have to do is do the work, learn from your mistakes, and you'll get an A

I had to retake this class because the first time I took this class i was completely lost because of this crazy "phd professor" who didn't give a damn about the students. This second time the Homework is online and the study guide have similar problems and the professor isn't a harsh professor he understands we have a life outside of class.

Mr. Jacek is the definition of someone who's beliefs are confined to the "attending class is better than an online class." There are people who would think he is boring, lame, and awful at teaching. I can see how but he is actually funny, smart, and kind to students. He lets us redo midterms and FINAL EXAMS after the semester is over!

Very easy going man, I loved him as an instructor. I wish these professors would ditch mymathlab though. I could have made an A but was a bit overwhelmed this semester and didn't devote a lot of time to the online quizzes - you get multiple attempts on each (I only did them once). They are harder than the in-class midterm and final.

This professor is hilarious and laid back. The exam reviews are similar to the tests and he allows a retake of the mid-term. He gives partial credit, but he does expect to see the work in correct form. You have the whole semester to do homework and quizzes with retakes. The last two quizzes were very hard, but this class is easy for a math class.

This is my second class with him, he is very good. He makes jokes to loosen up the class. It is hard to keep up sometimes. There is unlimited attempts on homework and 5 attempts on quizzes. The midterm and final is exactly like the study guide, not too difficult.

I took him for Precalc 38A and hes a real gem. He knows how to do good lectures and if you dont understand it, he will try to explain it as best he can. I took a hybrid and he gives 5 chances on quizzes & unlimited homework attempts. One midterm and final, he might give the option to retake midterm if you want. Hes pretty funny too!

Im horrible at math and still surprised I made it this far. His class was definitely tough but I was able to pass with a B. Just as long as you keep up with the homework/quizzes and study hard for the two exams, youll do fine! Unlimited attempts on homework and 5 attempts on the quizzes. You can always message him if you need extra attempts!
