Shes a sweet prof who goes out of the way for her students. Her classes are dry and gets off topic quite frequently. But if you show up to class she gives you all the notes and resources on blackboard for you to understand the material. Dry but will get good grade if you read the textbook, lecture slide and outline for tests and essays!!

While I can appreciate her kind, passionate and caring heart towards her students, she unfortunately is very, VERY disorganized which makes in nearly impossible to discern which content is supplementary and which is necessary. Speaking of supplementary... her unnecessary digressions are what makes up most of her class lectures.

Avoid this prof like the plague. Her lectures are disorganized and her blackboard course has so much content that you often will spend sometime searching for a file you need. She cares about her students very much but i think its time for her to retire. If this hasn't scared you yet she assigns a paper due during the final exam. Why study am I righ

Dr. Baehr is a passionate and dedicated professor. However, I think, that she lacks the ability to conduct class sessions in an organized and planned manner. Due to her enormous knowledge base, she gets off track often and it can be frustrating.

Monica is a great teacher. She cares about her students and wants them to get the best grades possible. She spends so much time compiling resources for studying, and is very clear as to what is expected on tests. She does get a little off topic in the lectures, but as long as you read the textbook and use her online resources, you will do well.

Comment:
Monica really tries hard and is very sweet. However, the way she directs the course is very disorganized and all over the place. There are so many extra components that you have to do on Blackboard, it is very text heavy, and it is not very clearly explained. She rambles on about random topics and takes a long time to get going on the content.

Comment:
She likes to go on tangents like mad and really elaborates on things that did not relate to content. By the end of class you are kind of left wondering what was even talked about. However she basically tells you what is going to be on each test and is straightforward about what she's looking for in papers. Not super useful to go to class.

I am truly surprised this is what is expected out of a University professor. I found her lectures literally unbearable, the content extremely dry, and her teaching style extremely ineffective. If you end up with this prof and want to learn anything useful, just read the textbook and don't bother going to class (or choose literally any other prof).

Monica gives clear instructions on assignments and exams but I found her tests extremely hard to study for. Her lectures are very dry and almost impossible to focus in as she gets off topic and rambles easily. Super hard marker/exams. wouldn't take again.

I would not take her class again simply because her lectures were quite excruciating to sit through. She was very unorganized, struggled to cover all of the material, and frequently went off on unrelated personal rants and stories. I beg of you, avoid taking a class with her if at all possible, you will seriously regret your decisions.

She really cares about how well you do in the class. Lots of resources from her(she spends a lot time preparing those for us), she is not a hard marker actually (very fair, you get what you deserve for your answer). I would take her again because the resources she gives us are really helpful for midterms/for future.

Monica is great, she gives students so many resources to succeed. From quizlet to lecture notes and clear test outlines Monica has given you everything you need to get an A, but only if you attend lectures. Her lectures are a bit dry, but it is through no fault of her own the material is just dry. Would definitely recommend taking her class.

Monica provides a ton of materials that help students become successful in her course. She offers a number of handouts which can get a little annoying, but if used, then you are set for her exams. Her lectures can be dry, but she truly sets up her materials and exam structures for success.

I've never dreaded a class more. She is very boring and gets off topic a lot. I find she picks favourites. It is very hard to concentrate in her class. Honestly if you read the textbook and look at the notes she sends you, there is no reason to go to class. I would never take another one of her classes.

Monica has great intentions, but her lectures just seem useless at times. I missed quite a few classes and was able to do well on all of the tests. Make sure you purchases the textbook because all of the multiple choice comes straight from the book.
