This is the first online class that I've ever taken and I hate it. I've have professors in the past that have given out plenty of homework, but honestly, I feel like all the homework that she gives out is busy work (esp. around final exams.... we have two "finals" - a project and paper). I wouldn't recommend. Doesn't clarify assignments either.

I had her sociology online, people say it's a lot of work, but it is 100% manageable. Nothing outrageous at all, she asks for you to take one quiz every week 20-30 questions, and maybe a discussion board every other week. She is super fair at grading and her test which are 50 questions are after about 4-5 chapters.

She was great! She's hilarious and obviously very well educated. I see a lot of complaints about work. Well this is college people. She expects you to EARN your grade. I didn't get the grade I wanted, but I'm happy and learned a lot. Expect to do work and don't put it off, you'll be fine :)

Patricia bell was an awful prison to take an online class with. I pray for the students taking her online classes in the future because mine was absolutely horrible. Expect lengthy discussion board posts, weekly 2 page papers, and to read 2 books from page 1 to the last page. Oh the final project almost made me cry. Take someone else seriously...

I took her for an online class and it was so tedious! So many writing assignments and discussion boards!! She is a tough grader and can be feisty with her feedback. I would not recommend this class unless you have 20,000 hours to devote to reading and writing discussion boards, power points, and other various assignments.

understand differences and inequalities. the class information was actually interesting but her tests did not have anything to do with our weekly lessons. she did not have internet connection for a couple weeks which made things really confusing for an ALL online class. i do NOT recommend this teacher.

Worst class I have ever taken in my life, she is an awful professor. She expects so much work that you don't have enough time to do your other work. The test are awful they are online and she gives you 1 hour and you cant go back and look at any questions. HORRIBLE PROFESSOR.

Awful Professor, did not teach what was going to be on the test. Spouted her opinion for an hour and then let us go. Tries to be funny, but her jokes are in very poor taste and are offensive.

She's really cool. You'll like going to class. Pretty easy to get an A if you just attend class everyday. I was working a 3rd shift job so I missed a quiz which ultimately landed me a B+ in the class. There's a bit of reading to do, but at least the reading isnt too bad (content-wise).
