She is the kindest person ever. This class included a lot of information so, if you want to earn a good grade it is 100% necessary to watch lectures, take notes, and NOT CRAM. There weren't any homework's so grades relied on only 4 exams, but extra credit was offered. You will leave this class with a lot of knowledge and great study techniques.

Dr. Griffiths is a kind, knowledgable professor. Her tests were sometimes tricky but she listens to student feedback and tries to give back as many points as she can (she gave us an extra credit assignment to make up for a bad test grade). She does have a lot of lectures for each test, so make sure you keep up with watching them!

Honestly, she was a good professor in terms of she knew what she was talking about it and she was good at articulating and explaining it. She was also good with the exams and trying to give us all extra credit to balance out some of the issues with the class. I struggled with her, but that could be because I'm a POSC major taking an ANFS class.

Wouldnt suggest to anyone to fulfill breadth requirement. Besides that she gave opportunities for extra credit but to get a good grade watching the lectures, which are sometimes long, is necessary. Grade is only from 4 tests but takes your highest grade and counts it twice

took this as a easy intro breadth class for my senior year and I regret it.. the tests are so detailed and u only are graded on 4 exams and a few extra credit which really did not help. I would take it in person if u have the option.

Professor Griffiths was one of the worst professors I had my freshman year. She was rude for no reason. Her tests are harder than they have to be. If you like classes where your grade is made up of multiple things do not take this class. She only has 4 tests and that's it for your grade. Not a good choice for a breadth course.

Do yourself a favor and do not take this course online. This class would have been so much easier if it was synchronous on Zoom. There is so much information on every exam it is almost impossible to memorize all of it. There were 4 exams and one small extra credit assignment and that was it.

The class is not hard if you watch the lectures, do the study guides and attend the review sessions. Gives a reasonable amount of opportunities for extra credit. My only critique of the course is that there was not enough coverage of animal rights, which was disappointing for me personally. In any case, she's nice woman and a pretty good professor.

100% asynchronous. 100% exam based. Very little opportunities for extra credit. Uses the very strict and invasive ProctorU. Dr. Griffiths is a nice lady and very smart on her topic but made a 101 entry level course that many of us were taking to fill a requirement unnecessarily hard in an online semester.

Literally reads directly off the powerpoints, her voice is so monotoned that you can't help but sleep. Didn't go to lecture for 5 weeks and still got an A. Your grade is only made up of the 4 exams and the material tested isn't on powerpoints/study guides! Good luck my dudes

The lectures for this class were all online, which I really liked because you could watch them at your own pace. Class time was spent asking questions about the material or taking quizzes/exams. Attendance was mandatory and if you asked questions you could receive extra credit.

Grade consists of only 4 tests. Lectures are dry, but she tries to make it more interesting w real life examples. Tests aren't cumulative, and if you take good notes you shouldn't get below a B on any of them. One homework lecture per test which is extremely dry but easy enough. Book is a waste of money-- never used it once during class.

Great professor, reads off slides but makes sure to add examples and information to add to your knowledge. Tests are not cumulative and are pretty easy since she posts a study guide on her website. The homework lecture is a drag but its easy to get through if you give yourself enough time to study it before the tests.

I went to every class and she read off of her powerpoint but then gives examples to make you understand them, so class was easy, no participation required. She only has 4 tests, non cumulative final. She covers about 3 powerpoint per test iN CLASS but then gives you an extra powerpoint to cover on your own. A grad student also gives review session

If this class wasn't mandatory for Pre-Vet students, then I would recommend not taking it. Lectures were extremely bland and tough to sit through. In fact, there's really no point in going since all the lectures are recorded and posted online. The exams were not difficult, however, they do require that you memorize ALOT of information.

This class definitely in not one of the worst but it is by far a walk-through. Her lectures are so hard to sit through. She sits in the front and is very bland, to me I don't think that she is a very good teacher. No chances for extra credit, and if you were ever going to skip a class this would be the one cuz there is no point in goin. Lect online

This class requires work to pass. The only grades are 3 exams and a final. No extra credit but your highest grade is counted twice. If you do not study, do not expect to do well. Attendance is not mandatory but she did take attendance once. All lectures and power points are online. Overall, interesting class but I am an animal science major.

Doesn't use clickers and attendance is taken occasionally. Test are easy if you study and offers a study group session that I HIGHLY recommend going to. She is very passionate about what she teaches and offers help if asked. She uses UD capture and there is no homework for this class. Get textbook if this isn't your strong suit but can pass w/o it.
