I dont think I learned a single thing in this class. She was always a mess and I never knew what was going on. All exams were in groups but they were overly hard and no one ever knew anything on them.

I wish I never took this class. If you are looking for a group A breadth, don't choose this one. Although Professor Warner was very kind/accommodating, I don't think I learned a single thing in the class because all she did was test us on hundreds of pages of readings from random articles that were not discussed in class. She is very disorganized.

The whole class and I were literally lost the whole entire time. We never knew when something was due or what we had to do. The lectures never related to anything at all. I wanted to sleep the whole entire time. She's an easy grader when it comes to papers. Her tests are so hard for absolutely no reason but most of them are done in groups.

Very disorganized and does not follow the syllabus at all. She is very funny and passionate about what she teaches but her lectures are long and monotonous. The exams are based on only the readings which can be 20-50 pages per reading so you wont know what questions will be on the exams. Do not take if you are looking for an easy breadth.

Most unorganized Professor I've ever had. Has no idea how to use canvas and will randomly assign essays. Her lectures relate to nothing on the exams and goes on random rants during the lecture. All her exams are straight from the readings and she expects you to have the readings memorized. Tests are extremely hard if you don't read.

All of her exams are directly from the readings. There is nothing from lecture, mainly because she does not lecture. She simply rambles and speaks in circles. She is a wonderful woman who is clearly very passionate, but her teaching skills are not good. Additionally, she is never available after class. One good thing: The exams are all group exams.

Do yourself and favor and dont take this class with this professor. There is absolutely no structure and she is super unorganized. No one in the class really knows whats going on or what we are supposed to be learning. Shes very nice and lenient, however, theres absolutely no point in putting yourself through this class.

She is a funny women and I enjoyed her class but she is all over the place when it comes to her lectures sometimes. Exams were in groups which made things easier just splitting it up in parts for each member to study. There were a few papers that were a bit demanding but overall good class. Loved learning about the music.

Lectures are her talking about her sex life and have nothing to do with what's on the syllabus. Quizzes and exams are group work, but the questions are detailed things from the reading. She even said barely anyone gets A's in her class. The music is outdated. Do not take if looking for an easy breadth.

Good luck trying to get her to email you back. I took a 3 hour lecture with her and she used every single second of that to talk. I've never met anyone who can talk so long and say absolutely nothing. The first whole hour of the class was frequently used for her to talk about her life, which I couldn't care less about. Smart lady, terrible prof

Very wise woman and for the most part the class was enjoyable. Fortunately, she let us take the tests in groups so they weren't too hard. A lot of reading though, and probably around 6 papers, but not too hard. And I just realized I've been spelling her name wrong on all my papers this whole time.

One of the most disorganized classes I've ever taken. She's a very nice and smart woman but due dates were frequently changed and it was unclear what you should study. Make the papers interesting to get and A.

all the exams/quizzes are in groups so that's nice. she's so nice and funny and she cares a lot about her students. she might say different things than the syllabus so just ask her and she'll clarify. pretty easy grader if you put in at least some effort.

worst class. don't think we ever really learned about what course description said. her test where easy but without knowing what to study it was a challenge. papers were grade easily if you kept it interesting for her to read. don't see the point on this class unless you enjoy very dated music

Attendance is mandatory but you don't have to pay attention because she goes on tangents. The quizzes are extremely specific to the many readings you have to do. The papers are easy, but the tests are based almost entirely on small details in the reading. Could probably get the same grade without ever attending class and just doing the readings.

MRW is ridiculous and hilarious, and though attendance counts, class is chill and often discussion-based. However, the tests are written and super specific, and even if you attend every class (attendance is mandatory but only 5%), you're left wondering what you even learned in class this whole time. Not an easy A, take a different breadth req.

All quizzes are group quizzes, but they are so specific to the chapters. If you don't read you will absolutely fail every quiz. The chapters are SO unnecessarily long. She is a really funny and sweet woman with a lot of knowledge and compassion, and she is great to talk to. Love her as a person, as a professor not so much.

She is very confusing to follow and isn't specific about anything. She changes the syllabus very often. Her tests are solely based on the reading and are VERY VERY specific. I wouldn't recommend her as a professor.

She has an entertaining personality, but the expectations of a professor are not absent. If you're not good with memorizing names don't take it! YOU HAVE TO READ! She'll have questions that you have to fill in the missing word from a 70 page reading

Fun class. It's easy to get an A on the papers as long as you try to make it interesting for her to read, answer every question given in the prompt, and keep the grammatical errors to a minimum. The reading is hefty but it's usually interesting. Take notes on everything because random material turns up on quizzes and exams. Know exact quotes!
