I found it very hard to understand him, although he does put all the material on the board and does multiple problems on the board to explain it better. I was able to reach him outside of class for more questions I had. The study guides are practically the same questions on the test and he'll write out the answers for you if you ask.

Zhao is such a great professor and I highly recommend him! His accent may make it tough for some to understand him, but he writes out literally everything on the board. Zhao's exam review is extremely helpful, so there is no excuse for doing poorly on them.

I found Zhou extremely helpful in comparison to other instructors. Zhou went over examples and really didn't move on until the class understood the material. He also provides quizzes which helps. He does give a review for the test but it isn't easy. I really like his teaching style and it has given me hope that I can learn the material.

While he is a little hard to understand, he writes everything on the board. as long as you copy this down and show up for the review sessions before test days it is impossible to fail his class. He has been my favorite math teacher at CSM by far.

Impossible to fail if you do your work and pay attention. You also can learn what to do if you actually do your work and ask questions. Most individuals are just too lazy however. I loved the class.

Awesome teacher! Pretty much impossible to fail the class, he makes it as easy as possible. he is straight to the point. If your not good at math and need this as a pre -rec i wouldnt reccomend, because i honestly didnt leard much, he basically gives you answers. He is a little scatter brained but hilarious. highly recommend!!!

SO SWEET! Gives many examples (sometimes too much detail for me) but he makes everything very clear. He does have an accent but you get use to it. He is adorable! No much class participation and kinda just teaches but gives you what your need to know and makes class easy. Love him and his class! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He did explain things and gave lots of examples. Study class prior to test night which is somewhat helpful. Don't expect answers from e-mails. Willing to help before or after class, but sometimes makes you feel like you should know it now that it's been taught.

Zhao is a good teacher. He has a thick accent, but you learn it fairly easily. Attendance wasn't necessarily required because he would go over the test questions the class before each test. 4 exams, easy maple project, and 4 mymathlab assignments that are a little tough. Pretty easy class grade-wise but some concepts are still a little fuzzy to me.

I've attended CSM since '09 & took my first math class my first semester with Zhao. He does have a thick accent, HOWEVER he is a phenomenal professor. He breaks everything down right there on the board, allowing us to get both a visual and verbal explanation. I refuse to take any other math class if Zhao isn't teaching it. I highly recommend him!

Brilliant teacher. I had him for 900, 1040, and 1100. a little hard to understand at times but exellent as a teacher. always around the campus and willing to help you. Also gis partial credit for choosing the right equation even if you get the problem wrong. Very Fair grading. Highly Recommend !!!
