Comment:
This prof is grossly irresponsible and uncompassionate during a global pandemic. He refused to answer any emails regarding a missed midterm for MONTHS. It has reached the drop date and he still has not given me my make-up exam or answered my abundant emails. It is good that this class is online or I would avoid going to class so I wouldn't see him

At the beginning of this class, I was very confused with the content and his way of teaching also added a little to the confusion. So, I emailed him and everything got better from there. He replies to emails immediately and helped me a lot during our meetings. He is a very nice prof actually. Don't judge him just with the way he is in class :)

Top researcher, eccentric prof, rarely replied his emails. We found out final exam is cumulative 4 days before the exam. 1st midterm average was 51. Unclear instructions. Textbook and lecture slides are extremely outdated and he even said so himself. Pre-reqs won't prep you for this course since the field is trending toward heavy molecular bio.

Comment:
He didn't put any effort into the course to make it interesting or useful. His lectures were disorganized. The material he chose for tests was very inconsistent with what he spent most of his time talking about in class. Also never responded to my email. Honest rating of his course: 4/10 would not recommend.

Comment:
He is nice and helpful in person but his lectures are very confusing, boring and hard to follow. it is also hard to get an answer to a question in class and the take home assignment was not well explained in class. Had to do a lot of self teaching and guessing. The course material is interesting but can be conveyed in a better more engaging manner

Comment:
Lectures were painfully disorganized and he talked in circles. Couldn't tell what he would test on. Made worse by him completely throwing the text out the window (couldn't clarify anything and did not teach what the course was supposed to). Also impossible to get a straight answer out of. Only saving grace is he's too lazy to make new exam question

He is the nicest professor ever. Extremely helpful and very understanding. Although I was a bit confused during his lectures, he would answer my questions over and over again. Thoroughly enjoyed his class and I also did very well.

Worst professor I've had. Worst TA I've seen. Worst class I've taken. The most you'll hear yourself say over the course of the semester is "what the fck am I learning" because his lectures and powerpoint slides are virtually incomprehensible. DO NOT TAKE PSY397... There's a 90% chance that you'll want to drop this course three weeks in.

I can't complain too much, because I did get an A in his class..but that said: lectures were disorganized/confusing, he did not answer questions clearly, and test marking schemes were extremely arbitrary/unfair. Also, the vast majority of the textbook material was not on tests, but there was just enough that you had to study it in case.

WORST prof I've had at U of T. His lectures are dreadfully boring and incomprehensible. His tests are completely random and unpredictable. It's not a difficult course in terms of material studied but he makes it difficult. He never replies to emails, you basically have to hunt him down and he doesn't answer your questions in any meaningful way.

BORING his tone, speed, material and the energy he gives off puts you to sleep. Lecture slides are short, random and incomplete. Does not post up everything (forgot his ID too!), tests don't relate to textbook material, really confusing tests and horrible marking scheme.BUT he is a kind person, and willing to explain (although unhelpful). 4/10 poor
