Very strict with attendance, it will effect your grade highly if your late or don't have an excused absence. Not very receptive to questions. Was rude at times when questions were asked by students. Does not like to be interrupted during lecture. According to her this class isn't even considered a "lecture". Follows the syllabus pretty strictly.

50% online.(75-80% really.) She follows the same structure as all the other span profs I am sure. Nothing special about her, nothing bad either. She is a fair grader, and gives partial credit. Overall, I would take her again over someone I did not know. Do online work and study for exams, and you will pass. (I hate spanish!!! :( )

DO NOT take Spanish II under this teacher. Her classes consists of nothing but translating sentences relevant to the section. There are no lectures or examples given to help one further undertand the material. I bet I'll learn more from a non-english speaking Hispanic person!

Definitely favored fluent students, who in my opinion should not have been in the class. Wouldn't even give me 5 extra minutes to finish a test. Speaks in spanish the whole class. Would NOT recommend for anyone without any background knowledge of the Spanish language (i think she forgets its 1201)

The class is boring. The professor is certainly willing to help if you need it, but if you don't ask, she doesn't know. Class time goes by slowly, and she works until the last minute. Expect to teach yourself the lessons prior to the test. Attendance is mandatory.

The class is pretty boring, and she works up until the very last minute but she is very willing to help if you need it. A low grade in this class is pure laziness because she tells you exactly what to study for tests, vocab quizes, and she tells you the prompt for compositions way ahead of time. It's not an interesting class but it's not difficult

The class I took was titled "Elementary Spanish" so I assumed it would be easy. Deffinately have to know 2 levels of high school spanish before class. Very nice lady but attendance mandatory and she goes over information very quickly. You will have to talk in front of the whole class in spanish so be prepared for that

She is a difficult teacher to learn from. My whole class felt lost and had to teach ourselves alot of things. She usually waits til the last 15 min to teach the new grammar points that will be on the test- which sucks because you do not have anytime to ask questions. She is a very nice person but in class she is not that helpful.

I had her for 1& 2. She is a good teacher. She is thorough and makes sure that everyone understands before moving on. This teach is not super-easy. Take her if you WANT to learn Spanish. In truth, I think that a lot of students are spoiled brats who just do not want to learn.

Not bad, but you can find better. Her attendance policy is flawed, but her teaching is manageable. Just do the homework and you'll be fine. She drops the lowest test score, which is a great favor.

Quite honestly she was the worst professor I've ever had in my entire life, and I am a senior in college now. All she does is review homework each day, she is not teacher-fluent in Spanish, she grades unfairly adding things onto the test and quiz we never went over in class, she was rude, unapproachable and I have never been so disapointed.

3-4 Homework assignments which are checked each class. The tests are not too bad, but alot more difficult than they need to be. Very strict on attendance. Most of the time she just rambles on about irrelevant things and doesn't make much sense. Alot of written work and alot of preparation. Don't recommend her unless you already know alot of Span

Not a good choice unless you are a spanish major/ minor. The work is equivalent to high school spanish level three, but the problem is understanding her, paying attention and keeping up with 5 assignments that she actually grades each nite. Plus, after 2 absences she take 6 pts off your final grade. Nice lady, but she's tough!

People act like they aren't in college. HI, WAKE UP, class is going to be hard, that's why you seeked further education. She does not expect anything beyond your reached. While she is a bit confusing with her teaching style, she is not a bad teacher. She expects a lot, but if you want to learn spanish, it's a good thing. She's a crazy, funny woman!

This class is hard! I like the professor, she is nice, but she is a tough teacher. Tests are very difficult and there is a lot of homework. It's like she expects you to be fluent in Spanish by the time you leave.
