Comment:
Larry never completes a thought during his lecture, gives vague explanations for the assignments, and ends up deducting points because it doesn't meet his criteria, which he refuses to share with his students, therefore making the assignment even more cryptic. Don't bother asking him for help, you won't get it. He shouldn't be teaching New Media.

For the life of me I can't understand why the student would find this professor less than adequate. there's never been a moment that I haven't been enthralled by his ideas.

Comment:
Latour is a good guy and knows his stuff. That said. He will assign something, make the goals of the assignment incredibly unclear, dock you points for not reading his mind, and then lecture that he was intentionally vague to make you think. He's a sweetheart for sure, but if you need a clear teaching style, he isn't the prof. for you.

The teacher was constantly changing his expectations for the course. He was almost completely unreachable outside of class. He returned one email all semester.

He's a good guy but he is all over the place. teaching on 10 different subjects in one 50 minute class. he will put you in a new group every other class and assign a group project vaguely with no due date then never say anything about it till the day he wants it.

A very nice guy, genuine and caring. However he tends to be all over the place and vague. He teaches alot of fundamentals, and I believe he is very knowledgeable about what he is speaking about.

Very good lecturer, he makes the class interesting whenever possible. He may seem a tad scatterbrained but is incredibly smart and knowledgable, and very nice. Sometimes his assignments are a little vague but he is always willing to listen and answer questions.

Best teacher I've had at the school. Exams test you on important elements presented in class. Lectures always worth attending. Assignments prepare student for later courses such as COS 250, 350, and 431.

A mild-mannered fuzzy bear. Very vague assignments, to a fault. He focuses on the theoretical aspects of CS at the expense of semantics and practical aspects. Very helpful and caring, although lectures can be so theoretical they're hard to understand.
