The class can be boring at times due to the fact that all he does is go through Powerpoints, but just taking notes isn't good enough. The online quizzes and graphs will help you more than what he can. If you try to ask him a question, he can be mean about it and act like you're an idiot. He's funny every one in awhile.

Fairly easy class.. just study the quizzes on the website and the graphs. He's a jerk though if you try to even ask a question - very terse and not very helpful.

He uses a 3 step success policy. Attend his classes, read the textbook, and practice online. Attendance is optional, but he does a great job at explaining the material such as graphs and what not, and makes the class laugh every lecture.

Not too enthusiastic but I actually liked him as a professor. His Managerial Economics course relied heavily on Microeconomics so if you know your Micro this class will be a breeze. All tests are 25 questions, multiple choice. Final is optional, same format of 25 questions. Take good notes.

He gets a lot of crap for being boring but he really is a good teacher. I took him for Managerial Economics and I learned a lot! His tests are only 25 questions and he does drop one test even if its your final! Very clear and systematic!

Seriously boring guy, but a very easy class to pass if you study the practice exams. He makes his grading policy VERY CLEAR, and will NOT budge.

He's not good, but really not that bad. Doesnt care how well his students do and won't help you at all. 4 exams & a final, but drops the lowest score. Won't budge on grades;I ended up with an 89 and he wouldnt bump it up. Just go to class take notes and actually study them. MUST do online practice quizes to do okay. oh yea, and dont ask questions!

Took him last year. Over half of his students were failing and he didnt care. The class was really boring and he acted like teaching was such a chore. Only 4% of his students got an A on one of the tests. More than half recieved a D or F and there was NO CURVE. The notes didn't help and the book is useless. If you take this class, may god help you.

This is college, you need to go to class and study if you want to pass ANY class. Tucker is a good professor, he's FAIR. Do the online practice quizzes, study your notes and go to class. There are surprises on the test. He does not give any extra credit but he does drop the lowest test. Go to class and study and you will be fine. I recommend him.

Tucker has taught so long he just brings his old notes and writes them on the board and sits there and drinks a vault. He doesn't even use the textbook to teach. His online quizzes don't help. Makes anybody that asks questions feel like an idiot. Try your best not to take him!

His tests are extremly hard, hardly anyone makes an a or b. All he does during class is sit in his chair and talk about how much he loves beer, he doesnt teach and doesn't act like he cares. If you ask a question he makes you feel stupid like you are the dumbest person in the world. Do not take him.

Why is everyone talking about the online quizzes. There were 3 questions on the last test that came from the quizzes. 3 out of 25 questions. The book doesn't help, notes don't help, homework doesn't help. He certainly doesn't. When the majority of the class has a D or F, you know there's a problem. He doesn't see it and frankley doesn't care.

tucker is the man. he lives for economics, even though the topic sucks. test are only 25 questions and he drops the lowest test grade. majority of test questions come from online study quizes and past tests if you can get them. you shouldnt even go to class, just go to class the day before the test and get the numbers to online practice quizes.

NO hw, tests come strait off the online quiz's and if you can get your hands on an old test, they are great too. I only study 1 hour before a test and I am running a B average right now. dont bother reading the book. take notes and show up to every class. can be boring and monotone. bring your ipod.

He's not a bad professor at all. The class is very easy if you go and take notes. Also, USE THE ONLINE QUIZES. I didn't read anything from the book for the last 2 tests and just used the online materials and I got an A on the tests. Just go through the lecture slides, and the interactive and practice quizes. He stays on topic, which is nice.
