This class is not that hard and Dr. Kazemi is not that bad of a teacher. The thing that makes this class difficult to get an A is the test. Careless errors in a test can cause you to fail even if you get the answer correct. Make sure to come to every lecture and pay attention because all of the test materials come from the homework and notes.

You must attend EVERY class to pass. The textbook is useful but he skips some stuff and sometimes he writes different definitions than those in the book. Overall it was a good class and good professor. I got a B but I could've gotten an A if I knew how to study for the first exam. Tip: Just memorize everything in the study guides.

The textbook is extremely helpful, since the majority of the test questions are directly from the textbook examples, plus he goes over how to solve them in class many times. Skipping class is a bad idea since much essential material is covered. On tests, be sure to be precise and specific, or you'll lose points.

My favorite Prof ever.Incredibly nice.You can really tell he cares about the subject and all of his students.I felt most comfortable in the environment he set up and it was fun every time I went to his class.He gave us several homework and made us to be involved with the subjects.By test questions, he built up our self confident about the course.

Dr. Kazemi is one of the best math professors that I have had. His class is rigorous but he is able to teach the material where others at the school fail. He states his objectives for each section and tests accordingly. If you fail to make a good grade in his class, that is your shortcoming, not his. I would definitely take another class with him.

Very nice man, if you attend all classes, pay attention, & take notes then he's really nice to you & will help if you go to his office. However he's terrible at explaining things clearly, homeworks are hard to do & are 30% of your final grade, so getting A's in your tests is nothing if you make less than perfect 100s on your hws -_- Easy tests thou

I am not a math person at all, but this class is manageable if you pay attention. Dr. Kazemi is extremely willing to help and wants everyone to do well. If math doesn't come natural to you, do the homework because it is very similar to the tests. Go to class and pay attention and you should do well. Great professor! He kind of has an accent, but if you really listen to what he says, he is very helpful. He REALLY wants everyone to do well. He is very nice! Attendance not mandatory, and you CAN learn from the book, but he gives lots of shortcuts in class. Makes the material EASY!

I had this professor for Statistics. He is so great! You have to attend all his classes in order to do well, but ALL of his tests are EXACTLY what is on his homework. The exact same! As long as you do you homework and pay attention, you will do fine in his class.

He is a pretty good teacher. Gives webwork which is pretty easy. Always willing to help. Can go to his office anytime. He gives a study guide before the test and the questions usually come fromt he study. Easy to pass. Must come to class or youwill be lost.

There's a reason why the math department here isn't doing so well, it's professors like him! Sure helps the best he can, but that doesn't mean anything if he doesn't do well teaching his class. He skips A LOT and doesn't cover everything for the DEPT MADE exam. Wish you luck. For Statistics, the other classes are ok, just not this one.
