Comment:
Professor Levy is cool. You don't have to attend class to get an A, just do all the online quizzes and study the studyguide for the midterms, the final has the most points so be careful. I truly regret getting a B because the class doesn't require much effort. One important thing to remember from this course, THERE WERE NO HUMANS WITH DINOSAURS.

She makes the tests insanely easy on purpose because she knows that no one pays attention in class You can skip every day and make a B as long as you take the quizzes online. If you do go to class, be prepared to listen to a monotone, droning lecture. Easy class if you need a few credits.

Dr. Levy is a great professor!! The online quizzes are very easy. You need to make sure you read the articles she assigns though, she puts questions about them on the tests. Tests are pretty fair as long as you use the study guide she posts to moodle. Attendance isn't mandatory, overall great course!

She was a great teacher - very fair! If you needed anything she was more likely to help. Though gotta say she's sorta boring sometimes (maybe it's just the fact that it is an 8 am class!). Attend class if you want to do well! If you studied enough and understand the material, you'd pass with at least an A.

Mainly a lecture class but thankfully she gives most of her notes in a course pack. Doesn't take attendance and relatively easy if you do the reading.

Easy class if you pay attention, which can be hard at times. She really knows what she's talking about, which shows. Big paper due at the end of the semester and she seemed to grade them a little harshly, but I still got an A. She goes over everything that will be on the tests, and will answer any questions.

She is a tough grader. She will take off points from exams for little errors. But everything that will be on the test is handed out in review sheets. Her lectures can be a little long-winded and boring, but she brings in slides from actual excavations so that makes the class interesting.

Before taking Dr.Levy's intro class, I wasn't at all interested in Anthroplogy. Now I'm an Anthro major. Her lectures are a little dry, but she tries to make them interesting. Tests are pretty easy if you go over the study guide. The readings are interesting. No attendance (but go if you want to do well on tests), no assignments, easy overall.

You haven't even registered for her class and she already knows you're an idiot. She rambles on about nothing for days then remembers "OH! I am supposed to give tests" and tries to cram it all in in a review session. NO HELP when it comes to explaning writing assignments. Unless you're psychic or a mind reader, you won't get a good grade on yours!

The class itself is pretty boring, but she has such passion for it, you can't help but listen. The writing assignment is a total pain, and she can be unclear as to exactly what she's looking for with it. Tests are part short answer and part essay. All I can say is listen and do the readings. If you ask her for help, she WILL give it.

I was really interested in this course until the hour ended. She's a very cruel and insulting woman. Just because you have a Ph.D. doesn't mean you have earned the right to treat your students like she does. I made an A on the first exam and attend class regularly. Even that doesn't count for something in her eyes. Run while you can!
