She's an amazing teacher! When I finished her class, I felt that I actually learned something, so I took every other class she taught. Her classes are lectures with Powerpoint presentations. She explains everything in depth, is always happy to answer questions, and have discussions. She also adapted her course for online well with the outbreak.

I wasted half my summer to just end up withdrawing. Shes a HORRIBLE teacher. Ive always been good at writing essays. I get As every time! She gave me a D on my paper and also accused me of plagiarizing. She ended up apologizing for accusing me. She was WRONG! Dont take her. She has her tenure and sucks! I paid to drop to not deal with her!

The rudest grader I've ever had. She would constantly put sad faces on my assignments and say that I was "Not grasping course content effectively" but wouldn't clearly explain what I was doing wrong. This was an online class so maybe she's different online than in class but I found her rude and she killed my love of child development. ):

I absolutely loved Jessica Snyder both times I had her. Her expectations are clear and she grades things promptly. Her teaching style is lecturing from powerpoints. She uses personal stories to explain things better. The homework is always multiple choice and the projects are simple. As long as you do the work, you can get a good grade.

Jessica is a great instructor. She didn't mess around. She had a set class routine and stuck with it and let us know if things were to change ahead of time. Very reasonable if you have to be absent. Will send you homework and the powerpoint is always online. Definitely, Recommend.

Although this class was pretty easy as long as you read the textbook and did your homework, she was an awful grader! On the discussion board she would knock points off for the correct answer- I literally copied and pasted an example she gave in one of her slides and she told me it was an incorrect example. Very frustrating.

Took almost every psych class I could with her. I almost changed my major to psych because she's just that good. She has a dark sense of humor and is a great personality overall. Her classes are informative and very practical. They are also very easy. You need to know your stuff to pass but there is no busy work to waste your time.

This is my 3rd class with Jessica, I have taken her abnormal psy, sex and gender psy, and general psy and loved them all! She makes the class interesting and fun! I wouldn't recommend any other professor for psy!
