Dr. A is the kindest human ever. She is so encouraging of her students and was so helpful throughout the pandemic. She will always reply to emails in a timely fashion and always make sure you have clarity when it comes to quizzes and exams. I would definitely recommend her!

I loved Dr. A's class - I am majoring in speech pathology, but taking this class made me want to be a teacher! She obviously loves her students and the material she teaches. I did not crack the textbook once, but the ISG is a must have. Wonderful, wonderful person and teacher, and one of the kindest, caring, and passionate profs I have ever had!

There are clicker questions for attendance and for extra credit. the text book about human development is not needed for this course, I didn't use the book once. However the course pack/ work book is needed and is also very useful when taking quizzes and exams.

Dr. A was a pretty good professor, I would recommend her. She is passionate about her subject and is really nice. She relates just about everything to her own experience with her kids and herself but it's an easy class. Tests are tough so take with a partner if possible. DID NOT USE EXPENSIVE BOOK AT ALL.

Dr. A most definitely wants each one of her students to succeed, and she will always check in to make sure students are successful. Passing the class will be a breeze as long as you take notes in the ISG and study for the testsquizzes. Go to office hours to see what you got wrong on the tests because she doesn't release answers on Elearning.

Dr. Anderson is a really great professor! My favorite professor throughout all of the classes I have taken through college. (I'm a sophomore). She is extremely passionate about Human Development, and she teaches to make a difference in peoples lives. Extremely down to earth. One paper, iclicker Q's, interesting lectures; be there, it's everything.

Ariel is a great professor and she is clearly passionate about this subject. The class was okay as long as you put some time in studying for the exams and quizzes. She emails the class beforehand and says you won't pass without the book, however I rented the (expensive)book and have opened it maybe twice. Attendance is mandatory by using iClickers.

Dr. A was a fantastic professor. She made all the material easy to understand with her examples. I didn't open the text book once, but you will need her ISG in order to pass. She was incredibly helpful & lets you look over tests during office hours.

She was very easy going, understanding. She originally said you need the textbook and you won't pass without it, I rented it, never opened it. With that being said the ISG however (Her written book with blank notes where you fill in) Was a necessity (also made it so you didn't have to write 100 things in a minute) Really enjoyed this class

I loved Dr. A! If you attend class and take notes in the guided book, the class will be a piece of cake. All the quizzes/tests are online, there is never homework besides reading (which she never checks if we read or not), and she offers study groups and an additional assistant tutor. She uses iClickers in class for extra credit.

Dr. A is an awesome professor! She truly cares about her students and wants them to do well. If you attend class and take notes (in the guided notes book) you will do great in the class! All the quizzes and exams are online so you shouldn't have a problem with them! I really can't say enough good things about Dr. A!

I hated this class! Too much information to remember and your graded by quizzes and test. Some people in my class did great and some have to take it over. The final exam is long, every quiz and test is timed, online, and only 1 attempt, and you can not see what you got wrong. Make sure you study a week ahead for everything.

Ariel is very interesting to listen to. When she says she is an "open book", she means it. Her tests are relatively hard, make sure to study for them, but all material on them are either in the book or covered in lecture. Pay attention to her examples during lecture, she uses them on the tests. Overall great class and professor!!

Call was extremely interesting, the way Ariel lectured kept me listening. The class isn't easy, you really have to study and READ THE BOOK along with your notes for the exams. Exams and quizzes are all online and she gives a generous block of time to take them. No class on exam days which is also nice. Attend office hours if your grade is slipping!

Definitely knows what she is talking about and is interested in the topics! Read book before quizzes and exams and take more thorough notes than what's on the overhead. Write down examples because the ones she gives in class are almost identical to the ones on the exams. Nice prof, not easy but fair and reasonable. Enjoyed Ariel and the class.
