Attendance is mandatory, I skipped class 3 times and he decreased my grade by 2 points. I would have had an A if i had not. The midterm was not bad as long as you study however the final exam was tough. I would describe this professor as very different, he likes to jump on top of tables to make a point.

Very weird guy. Lectures the whole class and is impossible to follow. Homework for the first half of the semester then just quizzes after. Midterm and final are 50% of your final grade, he provides study guides for each which helps but he grades harshly. Required clicker for attendance. Offered some extra credit and was overall a nice person.

He's one of the strangest yet most interesting professors you will have. Out of the LBST teachers at UNCC, he's a decent one to have. He's fun. The midterms and final are extremely difficult and he is not afriad to mark off for thinking your opinion is wrong. He starts to take attendance after he learns everyones name.

Dr. G is a very broad lecturer and you have to pay attention to know whats going on. His topics are wide and he knows what he is talking about, and I think he genuinely cares, but he certainly expects you to pay attention.

Only a few moodle assignments at the beginning and then a midterm and final. He's very vague and wouldn't give you exact definitions of terms, but these terms would show up on the exams. Wouldn't take him again because I don't feel like I learned anything and this was supposed to be an easy LBST.

I thought this class was pretty easy as long as I paid attention. Sometimes it gets boring but the more people participate the better it is. He loves participation. He has a weird sense of humor so you have to get used to it. Only a midterm and final but mostly short and long answer.

I'm had a 4.0 until I took this class. No one knows what he's ever talking about. His test are all short answer, paragraph, and essay questions. There's no homework which is nice but his tests are difficult. He gives you a study guide but you don't really know what to expect. If you're looking for an easy LBST grade pick someone else

Absolutely HATE this class. I am usually a straight A student but on the midterm made a 78. Everything is VERY vague from his power points, to his lectures, to the exams, and also the final project. His grading system is bogus. Based on his views only. I thought this LBST class would be my easiest class but I'm making the worst grade in it.

Easy A if you show up to class and answer clicker questions for attendance. Pay attention and he posts slides to moodle. I don't understand why he has bad reviews, this was my easiest class this semester and required little effort.

He is a unique professor. I enjoyed his lectures because he always dug deep into the subject. He was always there for help if you needed it. For my presentation I had to do in this class I felt like the guidelines weren't very clear, so he gladly revised and looked over my presentation beforehand. Tests can be challenging, but just study.

If you know nothing about history, then be prepared to pay close attention. He expects you to have some background information on the subjects. it is very difficult to take notes in this class because he just talks and talk and talks. funny guy but not a good teacher.

This was an easy A if you go to class and pay attention. There were 3 quizzes and 2 tests all year with several opportunities for extra credit. Pay attention to his emails and you should be fine. It will take a bit of time but if you take school seriously you should be fine.

Looking back on it I enjoyed this class. Attendance is required, but you don't have to buy a textbook. There were three quizzes and two tests all semester that you had to know your stuff for, but if you spent a few good hours studying they were easy to ace. I recommend taking this class, but you have to be prepared to go to class and study.

Interesting professor; you can definitely get an"A" in this class. He gives multiple opportunities for extra credit. You can get over a 100 on the midterm. There is almost no work given the second half of the course. He even tells you how to answer the questions on the tests and there is a review session for all tests and quizzes the class before.

Professor Ghislain also teaches German at Queens University of Charlotte. As a German teacher, he is very easy to understand and is always very helpful. The class itself was not very difficult, except there were several online assignments. The textbook was expensive, but you will definitely need it. Overall, it was a good class.

Don't ever take this professor. He is boring, not helpful, and grades tests and assignments based on what his opinion is. This was probably my hardest class this semester, and I would never take a class by him again. He only has a midterm and a final, and gives no outline or guidelines for the presentation. Overall, I hated this class.
