Initially I took the course because of time schedule. Chinese literaure to me is as exciting as watching mating slugs. But Bokenkamp opened my eyes! What beauty of language, what profound thoughts, human sentiments. All this time I had been asleep, wandering through life. Dufu! Libo! Sushi! Bai Juyi
