Very clear expectations and deadlines. Steve does not assign busy work or much homework at all. Exams were super easy. I honestly never watched a lecture, I just read the chapters. Definitely take this class if you need it or as an elective!

Professor Goldberg could well be considered the loving grandfather to School of Accounting. However, doing poorly on one of his exams hearkens back memories of being 8 y/o, spending all day fishing with grandpa, and not catching anything. Sure, grandpa will still love his grandson. But would he have loved his grandson more if he had caught a fish?

Solid prof. Lectures can be slow and dry, but they are very useful and exams are straight from the notes. Use the powerpoints and the lectures and you will be fine.

Steve is a great guy and really cares about his students. The class is ethics so it's more discussion based than normal and also an SWS so there is some writing involved. Discussions can be really interesting. There are three tests, four papers (3 of them are only around 500 words) and in class quizzes for each chapter. Not hard to get a good grade

I liked him a lot. Would definitely take him again. Yes, lectures can be pretty boring sometimes, but he's not a tough grader, his group quizzes are overall pretty easy, he posts previous semesters' exams so that we can practice, and the exam questions come straight from the in-class exercises and quizzes. And he has a good sense of humor.

Great professor! Studied abroad in London with him. Very knowledgeable, and helpful. Can be dry at times, but ethics is not necessarily an interesting topic. Highly recommend him.

I had him for half of the semester. He seemed very uninterested in teaching. His lectures were dry and incomprehensible. Using the original professor's notes and exams did not help either. He did not seem prepared or organized enough to teach the material. Understood this is a very tough class, but neither him nor GVSU made it any easier.

Very meh. Definitely not compelling, but he is fair and generally pleasant in the classroom. Very surprised to see another review call him organized, I thought the contrary, he seemed pretty scattered at times. Doesn't exhibit a great deal of follow through on things he promises to the class. For those taking 607, easy class, which is a plus.

He led a study abroad trip to London last summer. He was very mellow and easy to talk to and a wealth of knowledge. I would take a class with him again if I have the opportunity.

Very good prof - understands he is here to teach and help students learn. First class I have ever felt comfortable expressing my ideas. Quite a few papers but they do contribute to the material!

He's OK - VERY knowledgeable but has a terrible time communicating ideas/thoughts to the class. Disorganized and confused at times. Seems like there's a lot to learn from this guy if he could communicate better.
