I loved taking Dr. Connolly's Disney class. There were only 3 tests (one got dropped) plus an optional final. If you show up to class and take good notes it is an Easy A. She also handled the switch to online classes very well.

Dr. connolly is a super sweet professor! if you just take notes and study for her 3 tests youll be fine! all you have are the 3 tests (which one can get dropped) and a final. Youll get an A no problem if you just take notes! TAKE HER!

I had so much fun in this class. Only grade comes from four tests and the lowest one is dropped. Handled the online transition well and adjusted syllabus. The tests are super easy if you just show up to class. She will spell out the entire thing. Definitely take from her!

Dr. Connolly is an absolute sweetheart. She wants you to do your best and will take notice when you go above and beyond - which is great for letters of recommendation. The class itself was fun. There is reading, but most of the books you can get from the school library or Amazon for cheap. We watched Into The Spiderverse on the last day of class.

Dr. Connolly is an amazing professor, definitely one of my favorites at UNCC. The only grades are 3 tests (lowest one dropped) and a mandatory final. Her textbooks are a few online readings and a few short Disney books. Make sure you do the online readings and watch the films.

Our only grades in the class were two tests and two papers, but attendance counts. She really cares about her students and wants them to pass. She encourages everyone to be openminded and respects her students. Great class, just do the readings.

Professor Connolly is a great professor. The topics taught for the Disney class is enjoyable&interesting so it made it easier to pay attention to the material. Take notes in the class and watch the videos and movies required if you wanna pass. She drops the lowest test grade. Overall very easy class, especially if you love Disney.

Dr. Connolly is an outstanding professor! She truly cares about her students and the learning experience. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs English credit. She is amazing and I could not say enough good things. Class is pretty entertaining and the papers can be difficult but she allows time for revision. Take her classes!!

GO TO CLASS. She doesn't take attendance, which makes going to class even more difficult. Lectures are sometimes long, but pay attention and watch all of the movies and clips in/out of class or else you won't do good on the 3 tests and final exam.

There's no homework just exams and a final. You can drop the lowest grade of your exams but not the final. You need to go to class because 80% of what's on the exam comes directly from the lecture. Her lectures are very clear and she doesn't give any trick questions. Just go to class and read the assigned books and you will definitely get an A.

Paula is a very nice woman who is interesting to listen to. Her powerpoints are helpful and she's very interested in the success of her students. She is willing to help you in any way she can, not that you will need it. The class is easy if you go or if you can get notes from a friend. She doesn't take attendance.

Only have 2 papers and a midterm. You flunk one and you are working extra hard to pull at least a B out of the class, since an A is no longer practical. Teaches undergrad and grad in the same class, and she grades like it's all grad students - very harsh grader if it isn't what she wants. Shows passion for the subject, but I didn't learn anything.

Dr. Connolly is awesome. She's enthusiastic during class, and is one of the most helpful teachers I've had at UNCC. I took her Disney Lit class, and it was so much fun. The class was not hard, but you have to attend or you'll do bad. She drops your lowest test grade which is nice. She's a really nice lady, and the class was totally worth while!
