im not a chemistry person, got B's in highschool. His class made it fun, and easy to learn. Got an A and held it through the semester. The practice exams are same as tests.

The best chem professor at ICC. He filmed the labs in his barn when we had to go virtual for coronavirus. He really understands chemistry. So sad that he's retiring. He helps you figure everything out and gives great examples.

Amazing teacher with great lectures. Not going to lie, chemistry has some difficult concepts, but he does a great job explaining them. He is very approachable, so any questions you have that his lectures don't cover can easily be brought to his attention. Highly recommend him for any chemistry course.

Mr. Cook is easily the most hilarious professor I've had. He always makes class enjoyable and you're never chomping at the bit to leave. Beware that this can sometimes throw lectures off a little bit (he goes off into "dinner table story" tangents a lot). It usually doesn't affect learning though. I one hundred percent would take his class again.

Billy Cook is technically retired and is really still there just because he enjoys it. He has an incredible amount of experience in chemistry and is very thorough and great at explaining things. The test questions are all straightforward. If you know the formula or concept, the question is never difficult. He's more than happy to help everyone.

I had him for lab in chem 130. When it came time to take a lab for 132 I had two options: take it in the day, which was perfect for my work schedule and other classes, or take his at night, which meant totally rearranging my schedule. I did not hesitate. I took his lab. THat should tell you all you need to know.

Billy will be one of the best professors you will ever have. He relates everything to a real life example that he has personally dealt with. He is hilarious and will go out of his way to help you through this class. I didn't sign up for his class, but after finding my prof lacking, I asked to come to his as well. I finally started to understand.

He's a funny dude with a lot of hilarious stories to help you relate the material to real life situations. Breaks down concepts step by step either before or after class. I'm not going to lie, this stuff is hard. If you don't come to class, you won't follow any of it. Homework helped me out a ton and labs were always a good time. Smart, funny guy!

This professor is amazing. My favorite class of the semester and not because of the subject but because of the professor. If you're at all considering taking any chemistry I HIGHLY recommend Cook. The class itself is not easy and you will have to study but he's a blast to learn with. One of my all time favorite professors, ever.

He will always help in lab if you don't understand something. Class fills up fast so hurry to get him! I recommend taking his class and lab together!!

Truly worthy of the title "Teacher". Class is very interesting, and points are gotten across by entertaining and relevant anecdotes. Doesn't mind going over things again to make sure people understand them. One of the few classes I was always excited to attend. I would not take chemistry with anyone else.

This professor will captivate you with his teaching style. He had all of his teeth replaced with actual shark teeth and often plays his clarinet in class. Great Professor!!
