I am TERRIBLE at math and still passed with a good grade. I recommend him to all my friends. Each week followed the same routine which I liked and the homework wasn't heavy. The beginning half of the semester we did quizzes on our own then did them with a partner. You get to use a cheat sheet for the midterm and final (only two exams)!

Helpful outside of class, pretty knowledgeable of his topic, and doesn't really care if you turn in homework a day late. However, isn't great about explaining what you did wrong on tests/homework, and classes are always extremely low-energy. Decent teacher for math majors, not so much for people just taking a gen ed with him.

Not engaging whatsoever and he gives very monotone lectures and is bad at speaking to a group of young individuals that have aims of higher education. He is better suited to a high school level teaching of mathematics.

A very nice and intelligent teacher. His lectures can be a bit of a snooze, but he is very willing to help explain anything you don't understand. The tests are based heavily on homework, and aren't too difficult. He also offers many retests.

He speaks above the class and will make it impossible to understand the subject unless you have prior knowledge. He makes mistakes, and won't fix them while doing example problems, often saying "Oh, that's wrong. Well, you know what I mean." When you ask him for help he is very cocky and rude.

Very hard to understand. Down talks to the class and doesn't like to teach people who don't understand. He also doesn't like to answer questions. If it's in the book, he'll tell you to read the book and to not bother asking him. He is rude and arrogant. Also, if it's not in his notes, he doesn't get it. He stumbles over questions and examples.
