Although he seemed like an okay person, his teaching methods weren't the best. He doesn't provide powerpoint presentations & hardly writes anything on the board. His tests are the most difficult tests I've ever taken and the class test averages were always REALLY low.

Funny teacher and makes the class fun but his exam are awful! He tricks his students whats going to be on the test. All I have to say is that "do not trust him" lol SERIOUSLY! Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading the book because his lecture doesn't cover everything on the exam. So study, Study, and STUDY!

funny, but hard class. i scored well above the average on the first two midterms and on the first paper but not on the second paper.i have no idea what happened to the final, but i ended up with a C. how does that happen?and who the hell got As in that class? i want to know

Do not take this class. His average on a Test is around 30% while he claims that he will make the average a C, I failed to see that on my result. I usually score around 30-40% higher than the average and barely passed the class. His teaching method is horrible while his exams are not what it should be for an introduction class. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Dumb jokes, tries to trick you on exams, makes fun of BC Professors although they have higher ratings than him, makes fun of oildalians, makes fun of my advisor calls her dragonlady, he yells a lot when its just 9:30 in the morning, Needs to stay retired . Teaching method is unsuccessful!

The previous comments are all pretty accurate. His tests are indeed difficult and require that you know the material extremely well. They are all open-book, but don't get too excited because none of the answers can be found there. Despite this, he still goes down as one of my favorite teachers ever. Professor is entertaining durings lectures but is somewhat of a hypocrite. He will always remind students he's not trying to trick students and that everything in the lectures will be on the exams so focus on that...well I'd say 90% of the first midterm didn't even have anything on it from the lectures or the book.

The main things to worry about in this class are the tests. Some of his lectures are on the tests, but to do well in the class, you MUST read the text because he doesn't cover everything in the lectures. Overall, if you work hard, you'll get a decent grade and he curves so it's not terribly bad.

If you really want a class where u will laugh your cheek off, take Dr, W. he is very humorous and funny. Advise, be a democrat at least for your grade's sake 'cos he hates Bush. Lectures irrelevant to class material but he challenges u. Study hard and try to be one of his favorites. Even if you are failing, you are most likely pass at the end.

weinheimer is a very interesting person. the classroom atmosphere is very relaxing and his lectures are enjoyable. HOWEVER, his exams are extremely difficult and brutal. he really enjoys giving F's to his students. overall i would only recommend him if you would like to be in a fun class but end up with a D or an F.

no doubt hes a funny man but the class is ridiculously hard. his exams are impossible and although he curves it is still impossible to get a decent grade in the class. i dont understand why he doesnt make a test that students can pass. he seems to enjoy failing his students. i wouldnt recommend him although he is funny and has a good personality.

For a 100 class this class is a tough one. He is a very funny man and wants to put you to the test (he makes you earn your grade) his teast are hard and make you apply your knowledge - thats why open book/notes tests are hard, overall though he is a very good teacher, I'd take him again

He is a good man. He is not mean or scary at all, though he acts like it. He intimidates studnets at first because he is a little crazy. He's funny and a good man. His classes are hard and has killer tests. But definetly recommendend if you want to learn something. If you want an easy 'A' he's not your guy.
