Made class fun, and assignments were also fun! Gave clear understanding of Shakespeare, and also the different aspects of the plays.YOU NEED TO READ IN ORDER TO DO WELL, AND STUDY. The tests ALL consisted of quotes you had to read from the plays. Essay was second part of each test, and was very hard. To do well, you must not make errors in essays.

Best professor I have ever had. Makes sure the students have a clear understanding of Shakespeare's plays. If you are having trouble with his class and need to talk, Flachmann's office hours will work easily for you. He loves all the honors students and genuinely cares for each of us. He wants to see every honors student make it through college

He's outrageously helpful and wants every student to pass, so he tries his hardest to teach you everything he can as well as he can. He also tries to make sure that female students have a safe escort to their car at night, to ensure they are kept safe. He cares very much for all of his students and tr

I was dreading taking a Shakespeare class because I thought it would be boring, and I just couldn't bear reading another play. But Dr. Flachmann made Shakespeare come alive, to the point where I want to see more Shakespeare in the theater. Take this professor. You'll be glad you did.

While at first it seems like he genuinely cares about students, especially those in his Honors program, the truth is a little different. He is notorious for playing favorites, and he can often be a jerk if you catch him when he's in a bad mood.

Flachmann made Shakespeare surprisingly easy to understand and analyze. There are three tests and then a research or community service project. The final is optional. He's funny and friendly, very interested in his Honors students. He expects a lot from your writing, but he's a good teacher. Just try hard and pay attention and you'll do well.

Flachmann is a teacher who genuinely cares about his students. He was quick to respond to emails. Flachmann did not choose favorites; he respected those that would rather not speak. He didn't force anyone to do anything they did not want to. The people he called on were those that were eager to participate. Class is easy as long as you do the work

Flachmann DOES have his favorites, but these people are only people that come to class and actually care.
