He is a wonderful professor and a wonderful man. Well done, CSUB for grabbing this dude and putting him on staff. Why he stays with CSUB, I have no idea but that school is lucky to have him. HATED the material in the class but he TAUGHT it so well. I'm not a teacher's pet and barely spoke in class and I'll still tell you this guy rocks.

He is nice, kinda fruity, he incorporates politics into every other example but he is politically illiterate, I understand why CSUB hired him. He is a good little leftist. He has decent teaching capability if he isnt trying to indoctrinate children with socialist philosophies.

Key to this class is three things: Attendance, read every chapter and KNOW the key words, perspectives, and theories in each chapter and how to apply them to real life. You won't pass if you just rely on knowing the definitions. In each chapter stories and examples are given to further explain many of the topics, many are used on the test.

Great professor. Bacon makes sure you understand your questions, is very, very open to class discussion and making sure everyone knows what he is talking about, and has a lot of clarity. His lectures are easy to understand and he has a great attitude towards Psychology. He will make sure you know whats going on and answer your questions.

I really enjoyed his class (the reason I'm a psyc major now). Though reading the text is a must (especially the text under the pictures in the margins), he was very helpful. Just remember to be specific in the essays!!

This class was a waste of time. If you have already taken 300a/b then you know what he will teach in the course. The class was also intense for 2 units...a large final paper and a test.

Great teacher, great guy. The tests are difficult (almost to a fault) because he tests on five chapters at a time, and in a 10-week time period covers one or two chapters shy of the entire book! Subject is extremely interesting, and he makes the classes engaging and fun.
