He is such a nice professor. He made everything accessible online & the syllabus is clear. Had around 3-4 discussion posts throughout the whole semester & he gives very good feedback. Grade is made up of short 3-4 question quizzes & inquizitive homework (it's actually fun). There is only one paper (he is not a harsh grader). There is no final.

The live animal sacrifices really spiced up the class and made me want to come to class a few times. Most of the time I just wanted to stay in bed and eat flaming hot cheetos with my toes.

Professor Ault is very kind and clear of what he expects of his students. There was a minimal amount of work he required to be turned in and graded. He does take quite some time to grade assignments but as long as you complete them he is an easy grader. The midterm and final are take homes and there is one group project.

Great online class. Quizzes due every week and some assignments due as well. If you think political science is going to be a hard subject for you, I highly recommended taking this professor.

Dr. Ault is a professor who is able to show students how the concepts in his class are applicable to the real world. He engages with students by discussing compelling political events and encourages students to share their opinion. The workload is not burdensome: they are mainly online reading quizzes and responses to given prompts.

This online class was simple. Just make sure you keep track of when things are do and etc. Make sure you do the extra credit discussions cause they do help! There are also short writing assignments and quizzes, but those weren't so bad. Take this online class if you can, it's way better then having to go to a on-campus class!

Very interesting lectures. He realizes that we are all adults in the classroom so he isnt too strict. No tests, midterms, or final. Just two assignments due weekly. And you must show up to class

Wonderful professor. Very helpful and kind. Makes class enjoyable. There is a lot of information to understand but his tests are pretty straight forward. I loved this class and loved having him as a professor.

Professor Ault's course taught me a lot about the world of politics. You can expect to take a test on a weekly basis but as long as you read the textbook and complete practice quizzes you will definitely pass. He gives great feedback and always answers his emails quickly. He also makes sure to remind students when assignments are due which is nice.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. I was excited to take this class, & I feel a bit cheated. The lectures had no clear direction. I'm not sure if I learned anything. There were a lot of technical issues, & although they were beyond his control, I feel that there were other options. Tuition isn't cheap, and I'd like to get what I'm paying for

You have to put in effort into this class (attendance, homework, studying) I was a bit intimidated by the books he picked for the class but as long as you try, that's all that matters and you will pass! He is so helpful and always willing to clarify and answer questions. He makes the class so interesting. I RECOMMEND!

He is a great teacher. It is a public speaking class and he makes you feel comfortable. He doesn't judge or make you feel bad if you mess up. I would defiantly take another class with him.

Great Guy. Knows what he is talking about. He has travelled the world and brings an interesting perspective to an other wise pretty boring class. If you show up and turn everything in even without trying on the homework you'll pass. I highly recommend this teacher for those that show up and participate. Its an easy pass

Nice teacher, tests weren't to hard and he was very helpful if you go to him and ask. This class is meant to prepare you for PLSI380, so the final is to write the introduction to a research paper at the very end of the quarter, which is finished in 380

He is very easy to understand and does not leave the "slow" students behind. He makes sure to ask if everyone gets the material and will explain it if you do not. The main problem people run into is that they do not read the material, but I suppose that is a student issue, not a professor problem.

You are not required to attend class, but if you don't your grade will suffer. He does not make the material difficult, just pay attention and do the assignments (the few he assigns). The people that complained about him were the ones who never came to class.

All the assignments are online through mypoliscilab. It is easy, just learn to use all the tools available to you.He encourages attendance and gives extra credit opportunities to those who show up, also surprise assignments are given, and if you did not show up to class it is likely you will not be aware of it. He is very approachable.
