Such a kind and caring person. An easy class with intriguing material; it is a shame for future students she is retiring. Easy tests with one written assignment and attendance. She made the class very manageable with the pandemic. She also extended assignments for lazy students who did not do multiple assignments. No reason to not end with an A.

She is one of my favorite professors! She is very passionate about art history and wants all of her students to do well in the class and to enjoy the material. If you pay attention in class and take notes you will most likely be okay.

Took her since I needed an Art Gen. Ed. Her lectures went by fast and I still remember info she taught me a semester later! She gives a powerpoint where each powerpoint slide ends up being a quiz question. Look over the slides for at least an hour and you're good. Taking her next semester for a fun Free Elective. Can't Wait!

Prof Dacosta is without a doubt the best. She is so passionate about Art History and makes the subject very interesting and easy to learn. Her lectures are actually not painful to sit through! Quizzes are great because she posts a study guide with everything you need to know. An 11/10 woman.

Prof DC is amazing. She tells you exactly what you need to know for the test and theres no attendance. You can get a 100% by studying her guide and not going to class. However, ppl like to not look at syllabus and ask her stupid questions, which she doesn't like, and I think thats fair. Read the syllabus and at least study 30 mins and ur good!

Virginia is very straight forward. In the beginning of the semester I showed up to class everyday and loved it. I love art and she made the lectures enjoyable. After the first two super easy tests, I stopped showing up to class because I didn't even need to. The PowerPoints are online and the tests come straight from there. Plus, only one paper!

She's pretty great! Tests are extremely easy. She's kind of loopy and a little odd, but great at teaching. Just don't have your phone clearly out, because she isn't afraid to call you out in front of everyone. Other than that, I'd love to take her again.

She's very peppy and excited about art. For exams you pretty much had to match the sculptor with their work. Easy class and actually kind of interesting. I'm an accounting major and I found it interesting. No joke. She does take a long time to grade things. Three exams and one paper. Super easy. You can even get exempt from the final.

Professor Dacosta was very nice! If your taking this for just a gen ed I would highly recommend her. She tells you what's going to be on the tests so you know what to study. There is one paper you have to write but it is only 1 12 pages long. Overall easy A.

She was really nice and the class was super easy but a lot of the time she gave only basic information and sometimes the information she gave was incorrect. She's a nice lady but I couldn't take her seriously. That said, take her class if you want an easy art history class as a gen. ed.

I love Virginia Da costa! This class was so easy and pretty interesting which was an added bonus. Her tests were easy if you showed up to class and paid attention and the two essays she assigned were a piece of cake. She's a really nice lady and I thought she was funny too. Pay attention and take some notes and its an easy A.

Easy 'A'. DO NOT use mobile devices in her class! Classes can be boring, but I actually learned a lot. If you have an 'A' by the end of the semester, she will exempt you from the final!!!

This class was VERY easy. I went to class and paid attention and breezed through exams with an A or A+. A lot of my friends didn’t go to class however and still got A’s and B’s on exams. I defiantly recommend for an easy grade

I took this course as a writing emphasis and arts, so I was not let down by the lack of teaching. However, if I was a devoted Art major I would have been SERIOUSLY let down. The class was borderline a joke. We hardly did anything throughout the semester, projects and papers were EASY. Take it as an elective if Art is not a future concern of yours!

I'm an ARH minor so I was really excited to take this class but it ended up being really boring and didn't do anything for me at all. I slept through most of the classes, didn't buy the book and got A's on tests and projects, life shouldn't work that way. If you want an easy A, and to not learn anything, take her. If you want to learn, don't.
