Paul is a super smart person. Very educated and wise. But, his lectures are brutal. If you dont take extremely diligent notes, youre pretty much destined to fail. Wouldnt recommend as a gen ed class. Thank god wcu is doing the alternative grading option for online classes. I have a 4.0 but his class wouldve brought it way down. Dont take.

Your whole grade is out of three tests but he gives extra credit so do all the extra credit assignments!! That's what will take your B to an A. Read all the books or at least summaries, there will be questions about them on the test. He was very knowledgeable and always knew what he was talking about I just never knew what would be on the test.

Professor Stoller is a great guy and I enjoy his class and the lectures he gives. The class is difficult although if you go to class and take notes you will pass. He also gives extra credit opportunities to all students to help boost your grade. He does make you buy his own book though which is annoying .

Stoller is one of the smartest and moat experienced professors around. However his powerpoints are very vague. You must pay attention to what he says and he will not repeat himself. You will be very co fused on what material will be on the test

Professor Stoller was the smartest professor I've ever had. He knows things about the world and the people in it that most people have no idea about. I throughly enjoyed every single one of his lectures! I thought the tests were easy if you payed attention and also he curves. He has a lot of wisdom and will teach you things no other teacher will.

Not many grades in this course, 3 tests make up the entire class grade so its important to do good on these, Stoller is a interesting guy but gets very rambly and off topic constantly, most of what you learn in class and take notes on will just be random things possibly not on the test. Its hard to tell whats actually important in this class

In the beginning I HATED this class. I thought the lectures dragged on and it was insanely boring. But after the first test I started forcing myself to pay attention and he is a really interesting guy. I definitely would not take him if you are a visual learner because he just stands up there and talks you need to take detailed notes to do well.

Never in my whole life have I dreaded a class more than this one. He lectures for years and puts up these power points with bullet points that make no sense. He only gives exams, no quizzes, no projects, no homework, nothing. So if you do bad on the exams then good luck!

Honestly not that bad of a teacher. His lectures can be boring and drone on at times but as long as you pay attention and read you'll pass. Also he curves his grades way up at the end of the semester and curves tests up very high as well. I would take him again.

Terrible professor in my opinion. Lectures are very hard to keep up with, and he keeps the class uninterested. He talks about things that are never on his exams. He never gives homework, so if you don't do well on the exams, then good luck. Exams are very hard. Do yourself a favor and do not take his class.

He is intelligent, but arrogant. Stoller can come off rude, but utilize his office hours. His tests are difficult, so put in effort and do all of the extra credit. If you plan on taking an easy elective, do not take this course.

Great man. Definitely have to show up to understand what you need for tests. Each one has 50 questions, some are just on there for fun. Not too challenging, and he curves them all. Offers extra credit assignments, just do them, it's worth it. Ask him questions if you have any, he's very nice and loves telling stories

Professor Stoller gets a bad rap but he's really a nice guy, he loves what he studies and wants you to love it to. He can be a little unclear but he does give extra credit just study your notes!! if you go to his office hours and show you want to do well you will

Stoller's class is pretty hard. He puts vague, general subjects in bullet form on the powerpoint and then talks about them in great detail in a lecture so if you skip class you won't really be able to understand what's going on. He does give extra credit, and if you study for his tests they are moderately easy, but you have to be reading every day.

This class in difficult. He puts power point slides up with little information and then lectures the whole class. You are expected to read numerous textbooks with no understanding about what information you should focus on or know for the exam. I pay attention during his lectures and study for days before his exams and still get below average grade

Comment:
His class is border-line impossible. I actually paid attention to his lectures (which is very difficult) and took crazy notes and studied for days and still did poorly on the exams. He expects you to read four 250+ page books which is ridiculous. even if you understand the material, you can still easily fail the class cause he words them so weirdly
