Dr. Moody is such an interesting man. The lectures tend to wander from the subject. Overall an easy class that he can make quite interesting at times.

Moody is a fantastic, insightful man. His lectures are always interesting and engaging. He is an interesting character, sometimes incorporating humor into his lectures. He gives you a study guide for the test a week before, and they're the exact same questions on the exam. And if you don't do so well on an exam, you can ask him to meet and retake.

Comment:
He makes history and architecture seem like the most wondrous thing in the world, just from the way he lectures about it. Some might say he rambles, but a lot of it is factoids and anecdotes which, in my opinion, add interest and inform the subject so it can more easily be remembered on tests. His study guides are always 100% accurate for tests.

Rambles and repeats material all the time, but you will at least know what's on the exam. Exams are essay, prefers thoughtful answers, be specific, not vague. Easy A if you like essays, hard work otherwise.

EASY A Take this class to raise your GPA. Show up and sit in the front row, converse with him as much as you can. He has amazing stories but this will also make you more likely to earn a high grade. Easiest classes I have taken and I enjoy him so much. I highly recommend world myth as well. Do not buy the $80 book, the old version is fine.

Moody is a brilliant man in terms of knowledge. He is a walking library and can lecture without notes. Tests are easy, and he does ramble on sometimes but he knows his stuff. Get the review and you will ace the test. Take advantage of office hours, personally talking with him is fascinating because of his knowledge base.

Very nice guy. Loves to talk. However, that is not always a good thing. He tends to ramble about irrelevant topics, but makes attendance mandatory although it would otherwise be easy to pass by only showing up on test days. Tests are relatively easy, pretty easy grader. Just terribly boring.

Come on, you have to love Moody! He's been all over the place, he has an amazing office (thrones and bookcases all over is definitely cool!), he's a plethora of knowledge, and he looks like a cross between The Colonel and Dumbledore. What else does one need?!

Pretty awesome and interesting guy, but goodness this class was so brutal at 8:00 a.m. And Moody is horrible at making the subject matter interesting. I really didn't learn anything of value, or find anything interesting. His tests were essay, and thank goodness for the S.I.!

Work was minimal, but he had a tendency to ramble during lectures. Much of what he said made no sense in context with the book reading, or just briefly skimmed over it. I didn't learn anything.

Generally grades easy if you write a book for his essay tests, write exactly what he wants to hear or else you'll get an "and?" in red and a markdown in your grade.

This prof. is VERY knowledgable! He knows quite a bit about the world (seeing how hes been most everywhere) and relays it to you as best as possible. Though a little boring sometimes his stories and wit make up for it.

Very interesting class. This man by far is the most knowledgeable Prof on campus. Make it a point to talk with him in his office. His office is amazing. You can learn a lot from this man. Ask him about Britian?...just take coffee before 9am class in order to stay awake and you'll be fine
