Genetics is one of her easiest class and people still fail or drop or withdraw or change major or transfer out or drop out of college... No but seriously if you do not let go of your sleep or social life or interest, you probably will not ace this class.

She moves way too fast, and throws a lot of information at you. She's very difficult. Be prepared to spend most of your time on her class.

Dr. Espie classes are without a doubt the most difficult at Cabrini. That being said, her classes are also some of the most informative you will ever take. She is extremely knowledgeable about seemingly every subject and is willing to help students in need. She gives out a lot of "busy" work, but in the end it will help you understand the material.

Biotech is a difficult class; however, put in the effort, attend class, and PAY ATTENTION to her, you will learn! People like to complain about how hard she is..what they really need to do is be thankful that she is so passionate about what she does, and is also always willing to help. Not only is she an amazing teacher, she is and amazing woman!!

her class was really hard - but I hear bio 101 is a weeder class. Guess that explains why i had to work so hard. i got a B so i should be happy i guess. now in anatomy class i have to review my notes from last year's bio I class to understand. Epsie did a good job. I just didn't like the evolution stuff and taxonomy is boring! study hard!

I really like all my teachers at cabrini but Espie was the worst she was mean, condesending, and a terrible teacher WE ARE NOT ALL BIOLOGY MAJORS. she doesnt respect other majors and thinks that we should all aspire to be her...yeah right dont take her if you want to have a good year and not want to jump off the top of your building.

Covered way to many chapters and did not teach us that good. I have had many better professors both here at Cabrini and the last school I was at. I think that she tries but needs to SLOW DOWN!!! We are not all Nutrition majors (and don't really care enough to be one) @-/

this was the hardest class i've taken. wish i had remembered what i learned in my biology classes before coming to cabrini - i had to learn all of the old stuff over again. she goes too fast - and expects you to spend a lot time studying before each class - yeah right! dr. espie is tough - but a good teacher.

Want to take a great class? Take Nutrition (Biol 250) with Dr. Espie. I had to work my butt off to get a B-, but I can remember a lot of the stuff she taught us and can talk to people about nutrition with some insight. Sometimes she would get to in depth - especially since I am not a biology major, but it challenged me. Great course. Take it!

This class has definitly challenged me. Dr. Espie knows what's she's talking about, but sometimes expects too much from non-science majors, like me! But I would take another one of her classes. I have learned a lot from her - just wish the exams weren't so long.

Dr. Espie is the most organized professor I have had at Cabrini. She tries to make every lecture important and interesting. Sometimes the material is difficult to understand, but once you get it, it makes all those other classes you took seem worthwhile. Biotech brings everything together.
