Britton is one of my all time favorites. Beer and broccoli is his style. Go to class, take notes, and supplement with grazing the book and you'll be fine.

Britton is AWESOME! I was kind of dreading this class, but he has made it very interesting and understandable. He knows his stuff. Go to class and SIs! Study old tests and don't bother buying the book or study guide. He gives in class quizzes and grades on a curve. TAKE THIS GUY FOR MACRO!

Britton's incredible; don't take macro with anyone else! Really approachable guy, and very skilled and presenting sometimes complicated material in a simple way. Obviously committed to quality teaching, which is great to see in a professor with as much experience as him. The book/study guide aren't needed if you attend lecture and SI.

Dr. Britton is brilliant. He LOVES what he teaches. Sometimes he can get a little off subject, but if you go to every class and SI section you will be fine. Sometimes his tests can be tricky.. Always take good notes and review those for the test and you will be fine. I barely used the textbook and made a B in his class.

Good teacher, Funny. Interesting course. Go2 every class. Take detailed notes. On pop tests, write down everything, not just what he asks (from notes); expand upon it if possible. Study the practice tests for the material, and NOT the answers (try to understand what each answer means, not just the correct one). For me, the class was easy, but YMMV.

Britton is a great guy with an energetic personality. Generally explains things well, but sometimes sidetracks a little. Memorize equation and terms sheet for tests and understand graphs from notes or SI sessions and tests are not too hard. Never really needed textbook.

He's a cool guy but is not helpful at all! PLEASE do not listen to the people below and read the book or study guide! His tests are very identical to past tests which your SI leader will give out! Make sure you come to class for pop quizzes and go to SI and study practice tests and you should get a B!

This is a very interesting class to say the least. Lectures are almost always entertaining and it is relatively easy to get a good grade if you go to class and S.I. His test are very tricky at first so be sure to look at old test. Overall a great class.

Britton is very entertaining to listen to. However, to a student whose never taken economics, I had to rely on the book and SI for clarity. Go to SI, read the book, and go to lecture primarily because he gives out quizzes. They aren't hard and are worth about 100 pts. in total. SI is another 100. Then there are 5 tests and a final for 600 points.

Great professor, very knowledgeable. Super clear, explains concepts well. Attendance is not mandatory but there are "pop-tests" as he calls them. Make sure you attend SI regularly (worth a test grade) and try not to miss too many pop quizzes. Definitely recommend.

Great professor, very helpful and provides funny and relevant answers. You do need to study and read the book but if you do you should be able to get an A. Does give pop quizes in class but if you show up its an easy 100%

He is a great professor! Lectures are usually pretty good, but economics can get boring sometimes. Attendance to SI sessions is 10% of the grade. Tests are m/c, tend to be pretty easy. Take Britton if you can!

Dr. Britton is a fun teacher. He lets you out early a lot and does a lot of bonus for coming to class. His tests are fair, but you definitely need to study. He's not clear 100% of the time, and goes off on tangents sometimes, but SI is really helpful for that. I suggest taking him.

I had him this past semester. His lectures are extremely random and he tends to ramble. All he does is draw graphs and he rarely gives you exact notes. You kind of have to pick out what you think is important. I relied heavily on the book and the SI sessions to pass this class. His tests can be deceiving as well! He is a pretty good teacher!

This was a fun but very hard class. He explains the material in a real life format, but the test are from a question bank and hard. Study all the notes you take in class and go to SI.
