Love Professor Kable. He was a really nice guy and really loved the material he was teaching. Just keep up with the plays so you can write a few solid essays because that is all you're graded on basically.

I took this class virtually during fall freshman year. Professor Kable was extremely accommodating and very willing to give extensions. The readings were fun (you read most of it in class) and you didn't have to participate a lot to get full participation scores. I think everyone got instant A's on the essays too. Take this class!

Kable is an amazing professor! I took this class to satisfy my VP credit with no background in theatre and I found the class easy! All midterms and the final was a paper that were all super clear with the expectations. He is understanding if you can not make lecture one day and posts recordings.

Professor Kable is a really nice guy with engaging lectures. He made drama for non-theater students really entertaining. His class was also super easy with only 3 papers and a multiple choice final. Overall would definitely recommend him and his class for someone who wants an easy and interesting GenEd course!

I've never been exposed to much theatre, but I took this credit for a gen ed. I learned a lot in this class, and Prof Kable has a great sense of humor, is extremely knowledgeable, and can always put a smile on my face. The class itself was just clip viewing and conversing about it. 3 short papers and a final paper. All graded easily and timely.

I loved this professor. I had never taken a drama course before, but enrolled in this one to fulfill a general education requirement and I loved it. If I had a reason to take another class from him, I would in a heartbeat. He is nice, understanding, and if you understand what he is teaching, you should do just fine in this course.

Kable is just a nice guy! Class is super fun even for non-theater kids, you just watch musical numbers and chat. Show up, write the 3 reflections (3 pages each, practically graded for completion), and get an A. Kable knows a lot and just wants to have some meaningful conversation. I recommend this class but it does get boring after a while!

Professor Kable is the definition of delightful. In Covid classes, he has made me feel like an actual student with fun lectures that foster a great environment. He is incredibly receptive to students, often flexible with deadlines without even asking. He has such a love of dramatic arts that is hard not to feel in his classes.

Took this at 8am and was very boring. Requires a lot of reading, but grades are based on 3 papers and final. Mostly a very chill class. However, a lot of students emailed him about grading and he never responded to most of us. That was really frustrating because there wasn't really any set rubric for the papers and TA grading seemed to vary.

Prof. Kable was really understanding of the COVID circumstances and was there to help everyone out. Final grade was based upon three papers and one final, which were easy to do well on if you read the material. If you're a dramatic arts major, you will probably take many classes with him. Thankfully, he is a great professor!

Despite it being honors, this was my easiest class this semester. He is very passionate about what he does and was always considerate of our individual situations in response to COVID. This class had very little work or reading, and was actually really fun

Prof. Kable was a very fun guy to listen to during his lectures. The three papers we did during the semester were graded very leniently but I did hear about a few of my friends who got screwed over on one or two of the papers. Overall, pretty easy class.

Professor Kable is such a nice guy! I was hesitant to take this class because it said drama majors only, however, the class was fairly straight forward. If anything, keep track of the terms used during class because you will see them or need them again either in papers or in the final. You will not regret taking a class with him!

He is a very nice guy. You read a lot for homework, but the plays are normally pretty interesting so it isn't horrible. Classes are kind of boring because you just read through different scenes that you already read for homework for the majority of the class. 3 papers and participation grade.

I took this class to fulfill a gen-ed, but ended up getting a lot out of it. As someone who was involved with theater in high school, I enjoyed reading plays and discussing them in a different context. Easy A. A textbook is listed for the class, but is not needed because Professor Kable posts all plays as PDFs. Interesting lectures and discussions.

Professor Kable is gem. A ray of sunshine IMO. I had his 8am class this semester. I *hate* waking up early in general but if you have to take a 8am class this class is a good pick. Be sure to participate when reading plays, it will make the time go faster. When it comes to papers just meet the guidelines and pray you get a TA who grades fairly.

I wish I liked this class, but it was SO boring. The plays we read in class were often monotonous and for an 8 am, I was constantly on the verge of falling asleep.
