Take this class if you can! You won't regret it. There are multiple presentations, however, Dr. Cobb engages the class in so many activities that your nerves will relax on their own. You will interact so much with your classmates that it's almost impossible to not make friends in this class. There's no textbook and you will get pizza!

LOVED this class with Cobb. He is a very respectful professor who is just awesome in every way. I actually looked forward to coming to class every Tuesday night, he makes class very enjoyable and it will fly by. The assignments are very easy and I feel like he really prepared me for my major. Highly recommended, instead of a final he gives pizza!

Amazing teacher. Very helpful and always willng to work with his students. Class was very enjoyable. It is mandatory to speak in front of the class, however he makes the environment very relaxing and is a semi easy grader. Do what the work requires and you will get an A.

Best Professor I have had at UNT! He is interested in his class, and makes economics fun! I took micro at the same time with a diff prof, and it SUCKED! So glad I got Dr. Cobb for macro. Attendance is not required, but this is the only class that I never skipped! The only class I got an A in this semester.

Professor Cobb is so cool. He is super easy, makes the class enjoyable, and attendence isnt required. He uses the same format on all of the tests , nothing hard. All of the reading and homework come from a $30 UNT book and the tests are based on the book. He is also super funny making economincal references to movies like SUPERBAD. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Ok, this is the best teacher I have ever had in my entire college career so far. Extremely nice, willing to help with whatever you need, and makes economics simple. You do have to show up for the in-class assignments, but even if you miss class, he provides optional review days that you can go to & catch up.and the book only cost $25-35 bucks.

Dr. Cobb is great. The material is extremely interesting. The class is not heavy on economic theory but rather economic history. The information taught is extremely interesting. I do not like economics but I thourouly enjoyed this class. There are 2 exams, 2 papers, and weekly one page online posts. I highly recommend this course and professor
