Comment:
Sherry seems like a sweet person. However, this was the most difficult class I've taken. Meeting Sherry's standards was nearly impossible and grades were never over 85. Most of your grade relies on a group project and although I understand the purpose of doing group projects, the work (or lack thereof) of others should not reflect individual grades

The most disrespectful and incompetent prof Ive ever met. She is mean to her students and hides behind a facade when presenting in public. Her lack of knowledge of her own topics is unsettling. Takes credit for the work of her study subjects. Bullies like her should not be allowed to teach or do research. If I was the head of UW, I would fire her.

What others have said is true. Profs may say we write bad things based on grades, but I got an As and am still not impressed with how she treats other people and students considering her job is to help others. Im not sure why she is a prof other than for the prestige. She clearly didnt learn from what happened to her in grad school.

Was not what I had hoped for. I agree with other comments that shes lost her passion it seems. She seems unhappy and angry sometimes. I think she needs to retire. A waste of a good position. Her background isnt even in health, so Im not sure why shes in the applied health sciences. It doesnt make sense. Remember no ones perfect, not even you.

I was looking forward to her class, but was very disappointed. I cant believe she makes almost $300,000 a year for what she does... I thought she would be better and more supportive of her students. She says she wants to help people with her research and yet it all seems like a show to make herself look good. It makes me sad. :(

Very disappointed with this prof. Comes across as nice at first, but don't be fooled. Thinks that she is better than everyone and yet makes mistakes while writing and speaking. I had been looking forward to a class with her, but never again.

Participation is a must in REC 361 and makes up a big part of your grade. Dr. Dupuis uses an interactive teaching/learning style so she does not lecture in this course but rather teaches through in class discussions & activities related to weekly article readings. She genuinely cares about her students. Very passionate about creativity & seniors.

Does not care about her students. She lost interest in teaching years ago and it shows. Waste of space. Waste of a class. Waste of a faculty position.

Course was very basic material but her marking scheme was all over the place and not at all consistent. Tests took 20 minutes longer than the time allowed. For such basic material it was next to impossible to get a great grade, marking is done with her eyes closed.

I enjoyed the class material and that we didn't have class on Friday's, unless you were in the seminar group that discussed their topic that day. Loud though....but she'll keep you awake at 9:30am! Very smart and had her pHD
