Prof is good except the TA-Victor Nascimento. Just give him a punch to his face when you dont feel happy. He's a garbage!

I like religious studies so this class was fun, however, I didn't really learn a lot of new things. I can see how if you're not super stoked on the content it'd be boring. He's not the most compelling speaker. HOWEVER, the easiest marker for tests and very helpful when it comes to writing your final paper. Good guy, kinda boring, easy credit.

Comment:
Little clearly knows a lot about the subject, but has little to no skill in conveying those ideas to a class. He drones on about topics that don't turn up on the exam, does not provide clear expectations for assignments, and gets defensive when the class points that out. Avoid him if at all possible, especially his religion class.

Comment:
Little is monotonous as a lecturer and the examples that he gives in class are rarely relevant and can be difficult to understand. He talks himself in circles about spirituality and fails to provide clear outlines of assignments. I didn't attend in the second half of term, read the textbook and did well on the exam. Ineffective and cold prof. Avoid

Clearly knows his stuff but the assigned reading can be more advanced than the course level. Death by powerpoint and read word for word. Tests and papers take forever to be marked and returned. Three weeks to the end of the class and we only received one marked item. it is possible to do well in his courses but you will not be entertained.

I hate this man. He is incredibly dry, changes due dates on a whim and assigned real books instead of textbooks which made the readings almost entirely inaccessible, and refused to mark and hand back assignments. All of his lecture slides are just quotes that he reads off the slides without explaining them. I would not take another class with him.

Dr. Little is super boring. However, I actually really enjoyed his class. You have to be patient, but if you're in the right mood and ready to actually listen, you can seriously learn a lot from this guy. Attendance is not mandatory, 1/2 way through the sem. only about 8 people showed up a class. I fell asleep like 50 times, but I learned a lot.

Really enjoyed Little. Liked most of the readings he provided (with the exception of a few). It's unfortunate that students didn't seem to take theory very seriously. But if you're in to theory, you'll do well. He's very well read and approachable in office hours. Would recommend.

Comment:
Little is not an animated lecturer, but he clearly cares and thinks deeply about the material at hand, takes the time to provide insight into dense and difficult to understand subject matter (classical theory), and can be quite funny if you really listen. Lots of reading and meaningful assignments. I never knew I could be this into social theory!

Bill is pretty cool and really smart. Sometimes goes on tangents or rants, but they're enjoyable. If you put in a decent effort and do your readings, it isn't hard to do well in his class. He's also pretty easy going, even though he seems intimidating at first. He's really into theory and is good at drawing parallels between theorists. I like him!

A very smart and knowledgeable guy, but he doesn't quite suit his lectures and text choices to a 200-level soci course. The mandatory books were very hard to comprehend, and the lectures were not the best at clarifying the material. However, I found taking good notes and reviewing made it easy to do well. Not the best soci prof but not the worst.

Professor Little is one of the worst profs that I've had, and I feel terrible saying that cause he seems like a nice guy. His lectures make zero sense, hes in his own little world when he rambles on about religion, and his notes don't match up to what he's saying. Doesn't give students an opportunity to speak up or ask questions.

Really knowledgeable and funny guy. Always eager to clarify or lend a hand. Very respectful of all students, never feel intimidated or embarrassed to go to him with a question. Notes are great and he even puts citations in them. Really enjoyed him and the course.

Little is brilliant. Extremely knowledgeable professor that provides invaluable examples and additional materials in his lectures - do attend these. Little is also a really helpful guy - visit him during his office hours for extra clarification; if you're taking theory with him, it will definitely help. Seems intimidating, but is super nice!

Little is brilliant. His lectures were clear, concise, and easy to follow. He incorporates participation marks into his grading criteria, which is a bit inconvenient, although it definitely helped to facilitate my learning and understanding of course material. He takes great care to be available to his students whenever they may need assistance.

there is mandatory participation which worth 10% of the grade, the other 10% is given as weekly homework where u will do a lot of readings. Lectures are a bit dry since he's talking for the most of time. Students kinda teach each other half of the course materials. Its really a class thats about reading and self-learning
