First of all he is very smart and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Poli Sci. He has written several books and articles. I found lectures interesting, he can get distracted but he is pretty funny also. Multiple choice tests are hard, but he gave a massive curve, up 2 letter grades from you're raw score.

Cool professor, but pretty boring lectures. Doesn't reply to emails fast, has a lot of students all at once, but definitely tries to be there. Opens up to questions in the beginning of class and explains everything well. Pretty difficult exams if you don't pay attention closely, not much homework though. Quizzes were easy and helped a lot.

Professor Ingram is so so smart but isn't very well organized. Since his exams are super super hard he almost always curves them a lot so you end up with a decent grade. There's many chances for extra credit to really boost your grade.

Oh boy. This was by far the most stressful class I have ever taken. He is a nice dude but his lectures are really dry and he rambles a lot. Also, you are expected to do all the reading he assigns which is a lot!!! There is no way to do all this in a given week along with your other classes. It's 2 to 3 classes worth of reading, easy.

His tests are open note but can be very difficult, which he helps with a very fair grading curve. His lectures are not mandatory and always recorded, but showing up is definitely helpful. Extra credit is pretty easy and can make or break your grade. DO THE READINGS and take good notes it makes all the difference

Quite possibly the worst class I've ever taken at SDSU. In terms of being an online professor Ingram is completely unorganized and assigns at least 15 readings some with upwards of 40 pages worth of content for each unit. His lectures are very hard to follow and the material is extremely overwhelming. He also takes a very long time to grade tests.

Professor Ingram offers extra credit and a considerable curve on all his test--though this is probably because most student don't score too high. That being said, the class is very unorganized in terms of his lectures, materials, and schedule. Wouldn't recommend unless you prefer reading A LOT and learning on your own.

Ingram is one of these professors at sdsu. He does everything he can to help his students. I recommend participating in a internship. This help me with my grade. Make sure to attend class and take notes. I didnt do well on his exams, but he finds other ways to help his students learn by offering lots of extra credit. My final grade was a A-

His tests are really hard (Written and multiple choice) and truthfully you hardly learn anything from his class. Additionally, if it is still online, do not expect to hear him over zoom because of his trash mic.

Dr. Ingram is very nice and intelligent professor. However, his lectures are extremely boring and hard to follow. He often goes off topic and I can honestly say I haven't learned a lot in his class. His quizzes are not too hard but his tests can be difficult. Overall I would not encourage anyone to take his class if you actually want to learn.

Taking a heavy lecture based class online is difficult. Open note quizzes w/ unlimited attempts. Difficult exams/written exams. Very good curves tho. His lectures are asynchronous but his mic is so bad and makes it hard to understand. The assigned readings are so damn long. Overall, decent professor, content is just too hard to learn online

I can tell he truly wants his students to be successful, but the course feels extremely unorganized. I really appreciate that he curves the tests, but the audio quality of his zoom lectures is so horrible that it makes it hard to be successful.

Quizzes are easy, lets u retake them. Tests are super hard KNOW THE CONTENT! He is honestly very disorganized. Make sure to know the content and the readings. Study the lectures. His tests are very hard and lengthy. I wouldnt recommend this class but its not that hard to be honest.

If you care about learning I dont recommend this class. His lectures are extremely hard to follow bc his mic was terrible and he rambles on and on constantly off topic. He let us take the quizzes unlimitied times so if you keep doing them you can get 100. The midterm was curved, but you had to teach yourself. Gives 10% ec. Nice guy, tough class.

I absolutely did not like Prof. Ingram. I found some of his videos and commentary offensive and overall I didn't enjoy lectures. His tests are open note but difficult. He takes attendance and there are quizzes each lecture. The papers are really important to do well on as they can make or break your grade; write to the max page limit!

Ingram Is a very cool professor. I wish more professors had his energy to teach. You can tell he is very passionate about his work. His exams are very tough but he lets you use open Notes. He provides lots of extra credit. I recommend participating in any political related internship/volunteer work,it will help boost your grade up a letter grade.

He is such an amazing professor. His class is filled with lots of work but nothing hard. If you do study exams will be easy. Not an easy A but its possible. I recommend doing a internship because he will give you extra credit.

He curves a lot and gives a lot of extra credit, so don't be too worried whether you will pass. I actually didn't read any of the many readings he requires and still ended up with an A due to the curve. He allows you to take any printed notes into the test so find a group doc and that's really helpful. Once got a 75% raw which curved into 110%!

Unbelievably hard class. I've never seen such panic amongst a group of kids in my life. The curves are phenomenal but almost not worth the level of difficulty for the tests. His HW quizzes are easy but his lectures. OH MY GOD HIS LECTURES. You may sit there for the whole classand will get through 3 slides bc he's all over the place. He's too smart
