Extremely nice and caring guy. You have 6 quizzes, with a small curve, and he drops your lowest quiz grade, plus you will have 5 online discussions which are easy A's. The quizzes aren't easy but you can do well if you work hard. Definitely a very interesting and fun course. Would definitely recommend and Dr. Simon is awesome.

Dr. Simon is a nice guy, relatively interesting but this class requires a lot of reading which he will call on you randomly so it's important to do it. Attendance is mandatory but it's only once a week so the class isn't terrible.

He puts all the powerpints online and the only times i went to class were to take tests. He also gives really easy online assignments that are good for boosting your grade. As long as you go over his powerpoints and read the textbook its an easy A without even having to show up to class. Definitely would recommend.

Lectures well. He gives good examples too. The powerpoints dont tell you much because on the test he'll refer back to examples he gives in class. You dont have to do that much work to get and A.

Large class, professor dictates notes, 4 papers (online discussion) no class on online discussion days. Have to read 2 novels. Be ready to take lots of notes that are dictated to you and read the novel assigned. professor does not go over novels and doesnt not give test reviews. dont miss class or else you will miss out on the notes. be rdy2 work!

You'll learn a lot about sports psychology. Simon knows his field and gives many real-world examples to which one can easily relate. 80% of your grade are quizzes and the other 20% are online assignments. Lowest quiz is dropped, but the tests can be tricky! While it's a large class, he is more than willing to help you in his office hours!

I took him for sports psych and his lectures can really be used in every day life -- awesome class. Now you just have to seriously read the reading assignments which are on the syllabus he gives out for the quizzes because he refers a lot to the reading in them. No class when there is an online assignment, which is almost every week. Take him!

Awesome awesome professor. Just take good notes and read his tests carefully. I had over a 100 average. There isn't homework. This class is extremely easy as long as you just do the readings(which are easy and actually interesting) and study your notes for an hour tops. Take him. You won't regret it.

Smart guy who's passionate about the subject matter but also aware that you might not be. Lots of reading but its not even a real textbook. Tests are a little confusing but lectures aren't boring and its hard to fail if you genuinely try. HIGHLY recommend him even if you aren't sure about the subject.

Awesome class and excellent professor. Instead of PPTs he uses discussion as his primary method of teaching. He outlines and gives notes on important concepts and then everything is open for discussion. He listens to everyone's opinions and provides feedback. Nice guy, funny jokes, also very encouraging. His comments on my paper were very kind.

Simon is the man. Very cool class. 4 exams and a paper. You need each class lecture notes, because the exams are based off what he gives you. Study your notes and you will get an A. Very fun class.

Large lecture so no attendance however you need the notes he gives. Four 50 question multiple choice exams are given and that comprises the vast majority (95%) of your grade. Mess up once and you're done. Offers extra credit through studies which are neat. I wasn't satisfied with my grade so I'm taking it again but this time I know what to do.
