He is seriously one of the most enthusiastic and sweetest professors I've had. You can tell he loves teaching and goes out of his way to make sure the class understands. I love him!!! BUT Calc 2 sucks and is super hard in general, so it doesn't matter who your professor is at the end of the day in my opinion.

He's an amazing teacher. He's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. He really cares about his students and what grade you get. If you go to his office hours he'll work with you and help you with anything you have. It's a hard course but he tries to make it as simple as possible. He's not trying to trick you, he just wants you to pass.

The Doc is like a big 'ol newtonian teddy bear. Absolutely harmless, and tries to make your time with him as beneficial, and painless as possible. I was once an economics major, but after 211 with Peters he awoke my interest in mathematics. This guy is an inspiration, and one of the nicest people you can meet studying at IU.

Great professor for accelerated calc I and II. Even with a restricted time frame, he manages to teach everything very well and understandably. GREAT guy, and I would definitely take another class with him.

Calculus is a tough subject, but Professor Peters explains it thoroughly and is always there for help. This is the first math class I actually enjoyed because I not only understood the material but also didn't feel like I was falling behind in the class, despite it being a six weeks course. I would highly recommend taking any of his classes.

Great professor! The subject matter is difficult, but Dr. Peters is real helpful, especially during office hours, where he goes through things very thoroughly. Has a fairly generous curve for the honors class

GREG PETERS IS AWESOME. He may seem a little odd at first, but he's a MATH professor, so what else can you expect? When I missed a lecture, and the next day asked him what to study, right then and there, he took twenty minutes reviewing the entire lecture from previous day! He's nice, smart, enthusiastic, and really cares!

By far the hardest math class I've ever taken but still squeaked out with an A-. Great professor who is very enthused (almost overly so sometimes) and has a deep knowledge of the subject. However, he spends most of the class time developing and proving theorems instead of teaching their applications so YouTube becomes a very helpful source.

I had never before seen anyone so enthused about teaching mathematics. Every day he came in with a genial smile and utterly pleased frame of mind. He made learning a really wonderful experience. Homework is optional, but if you don't do it, you won't really need the textbook.

Greg Peters is sooo nice! He is easily accessible and more than willing to help. Beware, though, the class is very fast-paced. Homework isn't graded (but it helps to do it), and the quizzes and tests have really hard problems on them, so be ready to put in some effort!

Peters has renewed my interest in math. After coming out of Calc I with a B-, I didn't know what was going to happen in an Honors Calc II class. Peters was very supportive and encouraging, providing fair tests. I never felt unprepared for the tests or quizzes. Great guy, loved the course.

Greg is the best profs I have had in my 6 years of college, and an amazing math prof. Calc is not an easy concept to grasp for everyone especially me and he taught it during the summer which crammed in 15 weeks worth of work in 6 weeks, an extremely intensive course and he did an amazing job. Cant say one bad word about the guy!

Professor Peters is super enthusiastic about teaching; however, his class is difficult. I got an A in calc I and had to work very hard for my B in calc II. He does give study guides, but the exams are very difficult. Luckily many of the quizzes are take home. Expect to work hard. Homework is not mandatory.

Prof. Peters is a great teacher. He is very nice and wants everyone to succeed. Homework was not mandatory to do, so it was hard to want to do it. His test are pretty challenging. He is very funny though and will offer assistance to anyone anytime.
