Comment:
The class is very hard and it requires a lot of work, lab write ups take 3+ hours and expect to be in the lab over late. Labs are worth alot and the material is difficult but put the time in and you'll get a good mark. She's very approachable and the material is very useful but you have to keep up. If work doesn't scare you I recommend the class

Truis is nuts! She is entertaining but confusing classes and seems to not know what she's talking about. Material is boring but mandatory for a chem degree. She is very nice but if you see her for extra help it can be a hit or miss. Final exam was very difficult so I don't think she didn't count it. Lab write ups are death! DO IN ADVANCE!

Comment:
Truis may be a respected academic but this class was absolutely awful. You must study and work your ass off in this class. She is not an approachable person so getting together with other people is necessary. Do not expect to get a good mark for this class as it is extremely hard. She does not make the class fun and is just an awful prof.

Comment:
Truis is great. She moves quick, but there is alot to cover, so it works out well. For Chem 360, there is a rediculous amount of notes, and the lab reports take a long time to complete. But the material is simple and strait forward, so stay ontop of it and you'll be fine. But if you run into trouble, Truis is always willing to help out.

Truis was great! She goes a bit quick, so bring a coffee with you to class so you can work at her pace. As was mentioned, the material was not hard at all, but it adds up quickly. I found the final to be a bit tricky at times because of the amount of material. She does a great job explaining how instruments work and how the topics apply to the env.

Truis is quite the lady. Class is not extremely hard but the amount of material adds up quick. Be sure to write down everything you think might be important because she gives lots of theory questions. She's a good prof but an even funnier person.

Truis was my lab tutor in 1974 at Auckland University. I was in my final year BSc, she was first year masters -- she was the smartest, most helpful, most beautiful Chemist, Steve S

I wouldn't say that this is one of the most useful or interesting courses ever. Oh wait, what if I ever go on Jeopardy and get asked to draw a block diagram of CE? However, Truis is nice and has butterfly thingies in her hair. :')
